Located in Berlin’s district of Schöeberg, is @ponte_ristoranteitaliano a charming family-run restaurant that completely exceeded my expectations. I honestly didn’t expect to find Italian food this authentic in Berlin.We took the team’s recommendation and ordered the daily specials—and every dish was outstanding. The ricotta-stuffed zucchini blossoms were light and delicious, the spaghetti with swordfish and mussels was packed with flavour, and the sliced beef steak with chanterelles was cooked perfectly.And whatever you do, save room for dessert. The tiramisu was absolutely heavenly.With its warm atmosphere, attentive service, and exceptional food, this is a place I’d happily return to. Some places are worth returning to and @sticksnsushide is one of them. If you aren’t sure what to order at Sticks’n’Sushi, go for the As Good As It Gets menu. It’s a curated sharing experience featuring their signature dishes, from fresh sashimi and tuna tartare to DIY temaki, crispy tempura rolls, miso black cod, and grilled scallops. Back at @markthallepfefferberg for the second time in two weeks—and for good reason. Love the new industrial look after it’s been renovated. This week I visited Holy Everest and enjoyed some tasty Nepalese street food in Berlin. Founded by Rajesh, a former Mount Everest trekking guide whose father cooked at Everest Base Camp, Holy Everest serves authentic Nepalese dishes made with traditional recipes and fresh, organic ingredients.We mostly tried the vegetarian dishes, and they were all packed with flavour and beautifully spiced. The Sherpa bread, momos, and Dal Bhat were definite highlights.
