Took the wagon to a dyno day, first couple runs the car was kinda freaking out but it made a clean pass in 4th gear shown in the second clip and the yellow line in the last pic. 300 whp isn’t bad for a junkyard/marketplace build. I can finally post this now that I have surprised my gf with it lol but here is my new to me 2002 ML500 with 230k miles that I picked up for 600 bucks. I impulse bought it up a few weeks ago and the seller said it needed a transmission so went and grabbed it with a U-Haul and some friends and dragged it back home. Replaced the conductor plate with an oem part, serviced the transmission oil with the correct amount of fluid and an engine oil change and she was good as new. Black on black (with the 3rd row) with a rough exterior but mint interior is exactly what I wanted. I swapped the tires out for some 33s and did engine mounts and I’m currently on a road trip with it. So nice having a car that I don’t care about how it looks just that it does what I need it to do. The tires I got are nitto ridge grapplers I found on marketplace for 400 bucks, look cool but will probably be replaced when I get home. They rub a bit more than I like but I have a lift kit purchased and some other suspension work to do but very happy with this purchase. #w163 #ml500 #mercedesbenz #mbfanphoto #mercedes taken in City of Rocks National Reserve by @_s210_

Every time I go to sunrise at Mt.Rainer reinforces my thought that it’s one of my favorite places in the world. The views are amazing and the hikes around there are just as spectacular so enjoy the pics of the whip up there. Also shoutout to my wonderful gf that set up a whole birthday celebration at lake Washington cars and coffee ( ft. a cake made from scratch, love you pookie). Also thank you to my friends that came to celebrate my birthday, I appreciate you! Finally I didn’t realize but I missed my one year anniversary for my m112k swap, so close to 20k miles on the swap with zero issues. Insane. Pt 2 of my 2024 recap- cars came and went, the 2002 e55 was a ton of fun and got me where I needed to go when my swap was underway but it was sold to a guy in Texas and he is going to restore it. Biggest thing was my 2006 e320 cdi daily driver. After some work she runs great but it’s a running project at this point. 2024 car recap pt1? Has been a big year for this wagon and my own car ownership so here are just a few highlights. From sitting totally stock to a 5 thousand mile roadtrip in the south west, an engine swap, and many adventures to include a friends proposal and many car shows, the daily driver wagon has been so solid.
