Brushstrokes of Bharat | State 1: Maharashtra 🇮🇳

Every journey begins with a single brushstroke.

For the first artwork in this series, I'm exploring Warli—a centuries-old tribal art form from Maharashtra that tells stories of everyday life through the simplest of shapes.

What looks minimal at first is filled with meaning, reminding us that art doesn't need extravagance to tell powerful stories.

This is the beginning of my journey to explore and paint the diverse art forms of India—one state at a time.

Which state should I paint next? 🎨✨

The first time I ever picked up a brush , I painted a hibiscus. Years later, I found myself painting it again not because I ran out of ideas , but because some beginnings are worth coming back to. 🌺🫶
