@cfhiglobalhealth Grateful beyond words for this transformative experience in Durban. Over the past weeks, I got to observe life-saving procedures, witness the resilience of patients, and learn firsthand from dedicated healthcare professionals. I got to rotate through the surgical wards, the high care unit, the paediatric wards and nursery ( my personal fave🥹🤍)
Every moment deepened my understanding of medicine, patient care, and global health.

I also learned from and helped out the nurses at Malukazi Clinic, where I saw the intersection of public health and clinical medicine in an Islamic women’s clinic, and volunteering at an HIV/AIDS center, where I met patients battling both cancer and HIV with incredible strength.
