camping trip impressions💚🫶🩵
- beginning of september

it was amazing to spend almost a week just chilling and doing what I (we) wanted, without responsibilities✨️00
when I was too warm I was able to just go into the lake. it felt like I could slow down for the first time since march.
we went swimming a lot, chilled, read in our books and played some games. on wednesday we went on a hike and on thursday we did stand-up paddle. that was kinda strenuous but fun. in the evening it rained a lot, so our dinner plans weren't possible and @its_aaron3208 drew this meme to express our feelings😂

inspired by a @heartstopper season three quote
• where Geoff talked to Charlie

yesterday was very hard, I felt incredibly hopeless and like nothing will get better. whilst talking to my spitex person (bc I still dont have a therapist) I recognised that I need to find an outlet for all these thoughts. while watching heartstopper I heard a lot of phrases that resonated with me, but this one was the one I needed to hear the most. so I decided to make a lil art project, only for myself and to document the process. I have a hard time doing art when its not for a present..

first I wrote out all the bad things my brain is nonstop telling me and drew stuff on it that felt accurate. i then wrote as many good things about my life and myself as I could, that took very long and was fucking hard.. i had to take breaks quite often, cause it was a lot to handle and my energylevels are depleted. today I put on a sparkly clear coat on the good phrases and tonight I wrote the quote on it. I decided to do everything else than "my trauma" in a black sparkly colour. idk just felt right..

~ august and july ~
• pics and mental health deep dive

these two months went by very fast, but were too long at the same time. my mental health was all over the place, I had good moments, but also some very bad ones..quite a lot of stuff triggered my ptsd and my anxiety got quite worse. i struggle with doing all sort of everyday things, im putting even more pressure on myself cause I want my appartment to be finished and to still do almost everything myself even if it takes me so much more energy than before.. skill regression is a bitch.. im standing in my own way to ask and accept help, cause of my trauma responses saying that i have to be able to manage life myself and I cant rely on others.. I KNOW that its not true, but cant seem to manage seeing it diffrently

I had quite a lof of shitty evenings/nights where I just wanted to give up. Im getting overwhelmed by the littlest things and then just wanna hide in my bed and/or damage myself (in some way or another). i often want to forcefully sabotage my friendships with the aim to be actually alone again and having an excuse to be pessimistic about everything..

If someone of yall feels like I did it to you, please know it wasnt my intention to hurt you and im open to talking about it🫶🏻

I am in need of therapy, but still have to wait to get my spot. over the last few weeks I sometimes thought about going to the grippy socks place again, but because of my move everything there will be new again and i cant handle that atm..

on top of all that my chronic stuff is ofc more noticable atm.. sometimes it feels like the whole universe is against and out to get me. deep down i know that its not true and I can recognise, that I'm handling stuff better than ever🖤

for everyone who feels similar: I believe in you, I'm proud of you (for still fighting) and I know that healing is possible and life can get better✨🫂♡ by @_sash_sascha_
