Team Project Genesis needs YOUR help!

A 2024 study assessed that the relative risk of dying by suicide is approximately 3% higher than the general population. Autistic youth are also 2-3x more likely to experience depression and 7-8x more likely suicidal thoughts and behaviors in comparison to other youth. For some, this occurs as young as 7 years old. https://doi.org/10.1027/0227-5910/a000922

In 2017, The World Journal of Clinical Cases published a systematic review of papers that focused on ADHDers’ suicide rates from 2011-2015 where they found that 25% of youth under the age of 12 experience suicidal ideation, with about 50% of adolescence and 33% of adults experiencing the same. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC5371172/

This October, Team Project Genesis will be joining the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention for their Annual Out of the Darkness Community Walk in Milwaukee, WI.

Help our team reach its fundraising goal of $250! With YOUR help, more resources will become available for those in need. Let’s help heal our community together! 💪🏾

🍯🐻 Four Months in the Hundred Acre Wood! 🍂✨

Our little Adrian is officially 4 months old! 🥹💛 Just as cuddly, sweet, and determined as Winnie the Pooh himself!

He may be little, but he knows exactly what he wants, and when he’s had enough! 🤣❤️

Our little Pooh Bear turned 4 months old! 🥹🍂

Adrian works with us, and we work with him… but ONLY when he’s in the mood! 😂 He gave us some adorable moments before deciding he’d had enough. As usual! 😭🤣

Another sweet milestone captured through our lens at @sixthdaygenesisllc! 📸✨

Went out with my fellow PG team members to support Prisoner’s Pardon Advocacy this morning! Not all of us made it inside (we were late lol), but we still showed up in support. We promoted and practiced the 7-Step Re-Model that PPA teaches, with one of our PG team members, Dono (aka @chimil_don ), joining us for the first time!

S/O to @ciannaangeline, my sister and PG teammate, for showing up early enough to join the meeting inside. Let’s go! 💪🏾

I got a few clips of our time outside that ima share later. For now, here’s a team photo ☺️✨ by @_seaofstarlight_

To my Bean Sprout,

You light up my world. From the moment your mom told me that she was pregnant with you, I knew you would.

You are a very curious and courageous little one. You are a kind soul. A loving one. Such a treasured gift. I love the way you experience the world.

Happy 2nd birthday, my darling goddaughter 🥰♍️🌱 I love you more than you could ever know. by @_seaofstarlight_
