Gone Away - OUT NOW (🔗 in bio)

I wrote this song as an anthem for anyone who has had to rebuild their life from nothing. Loss. Death. Divorce. Deconstruction. Starting over in a new home. Leaving the church. Losing the job. Going no-contact. Getting a diagnosis. These moments change our storyline, and they change us.

For anyone who has lived through these kind of moments that put you beneath ground level, me too and I see you.

My hope is that this song hands you the courage to simply be in the ground. To be rained on by all the “too much” that life sometimes brings. And, like a seed, to trust that growth can still happen there. You will bear fruit again.

Our new single is out! This is by far the most challenged I have been in singing and writing, and I am very proud with how this song turned out. All of the @crusadenash members worked beyond our capacity and I think it shows.

Special thanks to our producer/mixing engineer @casey.sabol and mastering engineer @bhallpaddock for making this song sound bigger than we know what to do with. ☄️🦖

All of these sonic landscapes release tomorrow in one song. No lie, this is likely my favorite song I’ve written, produced, and sung to date.

It’s been a joy to make. “Gone Away” belongs to everyone tomorrow. 🌎☀️

These strings absolutely make the third verse. Tracked by my good friend @zacharynewbold who is as handsome as he is talented, it really is not fair. The chances of a live dove flying out of your speakers while listening are now at a staggering greater-than-0% chance.

Gone Away chorus, vocals only.

If anyone can guess how many vocal tracks ended up in this song, I’ll send an early download to the closest guess next week.

(Hint: it’s a LOT more than the 6 Bryans you see here. 😅)

Seeing my name on a Billboard plaque for session vocals is a moment I never expected to experience, let alone a # 1.

I’m incredibly grateful to every artist, producer, songwriter, friend, pastor, family member, and mentor who has believed in me over the years. None of this happens alone and I thank God for the many who see me.

Now moving right along; I have a single and a couple of productions that have my heart and attention this year. Just wanted to slow down for a moment and say: I am so, so grateful.

(And yes, this song released a hot minute ago. Typical Bryan fashion to share two years late lol.) by @_seeg_
