We are twin brothers, Yurii and Viacheslav. Since childhood, we’ve been deeply inspired by traditional Chinese culture. We learned through books — studying the philosophy, martial arts, and lifestyle of Eastern masters. Our journey began early: • we joined a Wing Chun group with our first teacher in Ukraine, • we studied and practiced Taiji (Tai Chi), and became certified Wudang Principles instructors under Master Ismet Himmet (You Li Han), • we lived as wandering monks in the Buddhist order of Nipodzian Mehedzi, • we studied Chinese language and traditional medicine, • we built our own martial arts school in Ukraine — one of our proudest achievements, • and we launched our own clothing brand — @Medelian — to wear comfortable, stylish clothes that reflect our spirit. Today, we’re also exploring Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai to become more adaptive and complete. Still, we remain dedicated to Chinese martial arts — where we are true masters. Journey to China This is not a sightseeing tour. It is a month of training, exploration, and immersion in a culture that has inspired martial artists for centuries. Our journey is divided into two unique parts. Yunnan - the mountains of Shangri-La, the ancient streets of Lijiang, Tibetan culture, centuries-old tea traditions, and daily practice surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. Then we continue to the Wudang Mountains - the birthplace of many Daoist martial arts. Every day includes Qigong, Tai Yi, partner work, body mechanics, Jian sword practice, and training in the courtyards of ancient temples and among the mountain peaks. This journey is about much more than martial arts. It is about slowing down, reconnecting with nature, challenging yourself, and experiencing China from the inside rather than as a tourist. Our next China Journey takes place in Autumn 2026. We keep the group small to create a focused and personal training experience. If this journey speaks to you, send us a DM.
