These are some clips from songs by Los Pink Droids and the title of the first two is Armada and the last one is Look Both Ways. I have been so bummed about not being able to play out live or even just meet up to practice. It’s definitely an interesting time but I hope everyone is doing good and making good use of their time. Keep social distancing so I can get back to jamming sooner, please. Here’s my rendition of a great song by Jorma Kaukenon called Genesis. It was actually one of the first songs that made me want to learn to play. For those who aren’t familiar Jorma was a member of Jefferson airplane and wrote some of their most amazing songs, example being Embryonic Journey. Definitely check his solo stuff out. Also I am running 3 amps at once. From left to right Dual Proffesional, 1967 Pro Reverb and Deluxe Reverb. All 3 are Fender. I’ll try to get embryonic journey down soon and if I do I’ll post it. #jormakaukonen #genesis #jeffersonairplane #fingerpicking #clean #folk #blues #fender #stratocaster #dualprofessional #proreverb #deluxereverb #univibe #music #tone #quarantine taken in Pasadena, California by @_shanebowen_

Playing the main part of Lenny by Stevie Ray Vaughan using two amps together, my Deluxe Reverb and My uncles Dual Professional. My new obsession is running two amps together, It makes the tone so full and adds a lot of variety at the same time. I’m very fortunate that my amazing Uncle @therobertcarradine always lets me use his amazing gear and he always comes to my shows. It motivates me to play even more. Thank you for being a remarkable human. Also if you haven’t go listen to this song, look up the live video of him at El Mocambo it’s such a beautiful performance. #fender #deluxereverb #dualproffesional #stratocaster #vibrato #blues #stevieray #srv #lenny #losangeles #guitar #instrumental #mental #loud #clean #music #elmocambo taken in Pasadena, California by @_shanebowen_

Such a fun night playing at The Casbah down in San Diego. It was one of our last shows before all this stuff happened and was possibly our most epic yet. It was a wonderful experience and I’m just so ready to get going again and I’m sure everyone else is too. I hope you all are doing good. Stay classy San Diego. #thecasbah #sandiego #thelavenderexperience #theloons #thejackets #theallyrgicreaction #blues #rock #psychedelic #60’s #loudmusic #live #fender #stratocaster #proreverb #vox #violinbass #vintagetone #music taken in The Casbah by @_shanebowen_

Here’s some footage of god. AKA Robin Trower. This fuckin guy has been doing this since the 60’s and he ages like the finest wine. There is no guitar player that feels every single ounce of what they’re playing like this guy does. He’s always in the moment I highly recommend getting with the fucking program and go see this man/legend live, he’s 74 and not getting any younger but he’s definitely getting better. #robintrower #toorollingstoned #psychedelic #blues #god #stratocaster #bridgeofsighs #trowerpower #phrasing #guitargod #legend #marshall #fender #feel by @_shanebowen_
