take me where the sunlight glows… and where the roads are flattest 🚲☀️ welcome to Tam Coc!!! we got here on day 1, borrowed bikes from our hotel and cycled our way with rice fields (literally also THROUGH one, don’t trust everything you see on Google Maps), karst mountains, winding rivers and pretty flowers in the backdrop. nothing screams ‘nature’ more than this!!!!! defo another core memory unlocked 🥹 and huge bonus because this place does not have crazy hills like Krabi 😂Ninh Binh | Vietnam | Southeast Asia | Girls Travel | Travel Asia | Discover earth | hidden gems | backpackers guide | backpacking Asia | femme travelers | cycling tour | adventure travel | outdoor bike | by @_sharkgummies

calm vibes only ✨ but also can’t believe this place is 1,700 hectares…. someone tell me how this entire complex was found nearly a thousand years ago? sometimes it’s insane how people of the past were able to build things of such grandeur and ingenuity 🤯📍 Bai Dinh Pagoda, Ninh Binhabout 6km from the center of Ninh Binh, fastest way here for us was Grab and you have the option of getting the electric car inside, but we WALKED IN THE BLAZING SUN so….. by @_sharkgummies

no filter on any of these cos that’s what March felt like - like a bandaid got ripped off 😶‍🌫️🤕nonchalant’s the word, but grateful nevertheless, for the people who take time to check in, to walk through life with, to take my random spring of surprises in their stride (very gracefully, I might add) current mood is like Val in the last pic but in all honesty….. I have been reflecting so much about the past month, scrutinising every action, thought, and word… we are so far from perfect and there is so much to learn and grow still. will we ever get there??? I don’t know, but I hope so. I truly, truly hope so, for every one here. stone’s throw away from Tam Coc, I promise it’s well worth it 🤭crazily enough, we had a couple hours left after the Hang Mua Caves, Hoa Lu Ancient Capital AND lunch so, we followed our hotel’s recommendation - best decision ever!!! especially if you want to see birds in their natural habitat (it is a conservation for them, but they roam freely), this is it 🦅 📍 Thung Nam Ecotoursim Zone, Thung Nham, Thôn Hải Nham, Nam Hoa Lư, Ninh Bình, Vietnam| Vietnam | Southeast Asia | Ninh Binh | day trips | girls travel | backpacking | discover Asia | off the beaten path | travel reels | by @_sharkgummies
