Introvert, shy, anxious, depressed and many other feelings are real. I’m not saying they don’t exist. I’m saying that is not of God. Those feelings are not a part of your identity in Christ. Those are feelings of the deceiver and the world.

You need to lock in and let Christ break some things up inside you. You have a testimony and you should not fear sharing the word of God and all his glory and wonder!!!

Through Christ you are saved. Not through your works on this earth. Don’t get it twisted; but after you accept Christ as your lord and savior What next?

You can still be lukewarm, you can still have a calloused heart, you can still be trapped in sin, not reading any of Gods word, not praying fasting or fellowship. You can still be told depart from me for I never knew you.

The posture of your heart and your work to the kingdom of God now matters. We work so hard to enjoy the things on this world, I’m not saying don’t go to the beach, or take your family on vacation. I’m saying your relationship with God comes before any and everything!!!

I love you, God loves you more! God bless you!!!

Pride is a recipe for disaster. Our pride is why we think we can truly understand that spiritual battles that fall upon us. God can, he understands and he sanctioned the battle to take place.

What should you do?

Lean not into your own understanding but lean into the lord.

His word, Prayer, fasting, fellowship. Ask him to remove your pride so you don’t create an understanding that is comfortable for you!

When I found out Moses was 80!!! It put into perspective as to why he was so argumentative with the lord in his first encounter.

He was old and stubborn, trying to tell the lord”I’m slow to speech” and “who am I, that you would use me”. Boy don’t you know who you is talking too?! 😂😂

Real talk, we are all searching for that encounter where God gives us this big fancy assignment.

In truth all we do is important to the kingdom of God. Start with your true identity in Christ, who does Christ see you to be? Continue to serve God by loving and serving one another. It’ll come, or it won’t; I don’t know. His time is not our time, his ways are not our ways!!! I love you, God bless you and stay in the fight !!!

A lot of men say steel sharpens steel or iron sharpens iron, and yes it is biblical; but I’m learning that most of you don’t mean it.

You don’t want to hear the real accountability and that’s what hinders your growth. Learn to hear the hard things. In order for steel or iron to be sharpened they have to clash!!!

It’s a violent process that produces the beautiful sharp edge. How can you cut and refine others if you won’t allow it to be done to you?!

I fell victim to the line of, I want to live life first!
Boy, I didn’t know what I was missing. I’m living better now than when I was of the world.

Don’t wait until you’re ready, because you’ll never be ready. You feel it now! You are convicted just reading this! Not one more club, one more porn video, one more blunt, one more shot, one more bad relationship! Do it now!!! Salvation is now.

It won’t be easy but it will be worth it!!! God bless you!!!

We know why Jesus died, we know what he died for. With this knowledge we still struggle with obedience. Your disobedience impacts your kids, your wife; and the congregation at your church. When you walk in obedience, you are sent a purposeful assignment. I know it’s hard, but it’s worth it, because you are worth it. You are worth the life of Christ Jesus!

This energy had been brewing in me for a while now. This past weekend, though, I heard the call, and I answered. I don’t know what lies ahead, but Father, I accept all of it. Today I feel great, and tomorrow I may not. Today, it feels clear and easy; tomorrow, it may be hazy and difficult. Just because I accept what God has planned for me doesn’t mean it will be without a storm. But you know what, being a liar was harder, being an alcoholic was harder, being unfaithful was harder, getting that first divorce was harder, almost losing my career was harder, being a slave to the clubs and lust was harder!!! This task is easy because I have Christ by my side. So I accept Heavenly Father. I accept the call to preach your word and serve your children.

There is no better standard than the standard set by Christ Jesus. The name above every name.

Have you answered your calling? If not, why not?! I know you feel the conviction, but instead we want to do things our way. The worlds way. Obedience is understanding that your purpose may be the most uncomfortable thing for you. But we are called to serve a Good God, a mighty God. Keep going, you got this! In Jesus name, you got this!

I see a lot of us want Gods love and blessing without the sacrifice of our worldly ways. We want God to fit into our kingdoms, we don’t want to come into his. Christ was the standard and we forget that the goal is to be Christ like!

Your trauma will stop you from being obedient.

We don’t have control over the things our parents and guardians expose us to as children. Sometimes these adverse childhood experiences can result in trauma and have long-lasting impacts on your spiritual development, your mental development, and your physical development. What does this mean? What does this have to do with my relationship with God?

God has a calling for everyone. Trauma produces fear and discomfort when put in certain situations. The enemy wants you to look away from God. So when you face situations that trigger you, you have two options! Lean into God and the strength he has given you, or you walk away from God because the task is too hard. That is disobedience. Let’s stop making excuses and get a little uncomfortable!

I’m not saying it’s wrong to believe that God won’t communicate with you directly. I’m saying in addition to that one on one conversation, God loves to utilize his children to impact his children.

Fellowship is one of the essential aspects of being a child of God. From prophetic words, to prayer. God will lay something on your heart to give to another, and that’s why obedience is important.
