One year ago today, Rex and I watched the sunrise over Moraine Lake (Banff National Park), completely unaware of just how much my life was about to change. 🌅

I never got around to sharing this video. What unfolded that day left me so overwhelmed that I could barely process it all, let alone find the words to share such a beautiful moment.

It’s incredible how some of life’s most exciting moments and most unexpected challenges can happen at the exact same time. One moment, you’re celebrating a new beginning, and the next, you’re navigating a chapter you never saw coming.

Sometimes, it takes losing something you once held so much value in to realize just how much of yourself you had invested in it. And sometimes, the unexpected forces you to rediscover parts of yourself you didn’t even know were there.

Looking back, this past year has been filled with beautiful blessings, unexpected endings, new beginnings, and a whole lot of growth.

I’m definitely not the same person I was standing at that lake a year ago. In some ways, I’ve even surprised myself.

Funny how you can capture a moment without realizing you’re standing at the beginning of an entirely different chapter of your life. 🤍✨ taken in Moraine Lake by @_shellbella_

A little culture, a beautiful San Diego night, and an incredible show. 🎭✨

Loved experiencing Begin Again at The Old Globe in Balboa Park. There’s something so special about live theater and getting to enjoy another side of San Diego.

Begin Again runs September 6 through October 11 at The Old Globe, so there’s still time to catch it. ✨

Definitely a night to remember at the @theoldglobe with @galsthatbrunchsd 💛
