My time at CCC has come to an end. Extremely blessed and thankful to be surrounded by the great people in Columbus and forever grateful for the opportunity to be the sports photographer on campus. I witnessed a 3 game district softball series, many top 10 soccer matchups, high level volleyball and basketball, and so much more like our suicide awareness walk, and award banquets recognizing the great student athletes on campus. Here’s a little post to look back at some of my best pics and moments in my 2 years on campus!

Slide 1: Men’s Soccer (and fans) celebrate a home win over No. 3 Northeast in CCC’s first event under new stadium lights.
Slide 2: Men’s Soccer celebrates advancing in the Regional tournament over WITCC.
Slide 3: Men’s Athlete of the Year, Rodrigo Gete boots the ball down field in that game against WITCC.
Slides 4-6: Volleyball Emotions throughout the season.
Slide 7: Softball Team Celebration after winning game one of their district series against Kirkwood last season
Slides 8-11: pics from this the last two seasons
Slides 12-18: Work from this winter’s basketball season
Slides 19-20: Some B&W work from softball this season! taken in Central Community College Columbus by @_shot.by.jake_

2025 Photography Review🙏

I am truly grateful for every single person who has followed and supported this year. I’ve grown a lot, which is evident if you not only look at last years review but my posts from the first half to the second half of the year. I’m blessed to do what I do with the talents God has gifted me and without him I would be nowhere near where I am.

Onto 2026😁 taken in Grateful & Blessed by @_shot.by.jake_

10.17.2026 📸 No. 2 WSC v No. 17 MN Duluth 🏐

Wayne State College (21-1) picks up a 3-1 win over No. 17 Minnesota Duluth (16-5) on a crispy, fall Saturday afternoon. After a slow start, dropping the first set 23-25, the ‘Cats lit a fire that wouldn’t be contained, picking up consecutive set wins (25-19, 22, 16) to continue their hot streak of 15 straight wins, dropping just their fifth set in that stretch. The road doesn’t get any easier though, the Cats will play host to No. 11 Southwest Minnesota State (15-3), No. 13 St. Cloud State (15-6), and a trip to No. 7 Concordia St. Paul (16-5), as well as a few other NSIC tests before the conference tournament! taken in Wayne, Nebraska by @_shot.by.jake_

GRITTY CATS 😾😼

Wayne State picks up a gritty 17-14 win over a scrappy Winona State squad. A missed 46-yard field goal on 4th down cost WSU the game late. The Wildcat defense was elite in the second half, holding the Warriors scoreless, and snagging an interception.
