As most people know, softball has been my whole life for the past 12 years. All summer long I would travel the country with my best friends going through the highs and lows. Softball was something I used to love with my whole heart, but as time went on that started to fade. Softball is not only mentally exhausting, but it’s also very hard on your body physically. From falling out of love for a sport I used to love so much, to constantly being hurt, I have decided to step away from softball.

The summer of my 5th grade year I moved to a different town and school, which meant a new team….I never in a million years thought that the organization I was going to join would bring me so much happiness and new best friends. From the late night talks in the hotel lobbies, carpooling to everything together, dance parties before (and during) games, and so much more. Thank you to the St. Louis Chaos organization for the memories and people that I met!!

High school softball rolls around and I’m starting varsity as a freshman!!! That was the best feeling ever knowing that I just did that!!! My last season as a high school softball player was awesome. We made such a good run and battled hard! Thank you to the Timberland Softball Organization for everything. The people and memories I will hold so close to me forever!!

Thank you to my family most of all!! My family put in so much time, money, and energy to help me play the sport i loved. Thank you for driving me to all my games and practices! Thank you for being my biggest supporters!! Thank you to my siblings for coming to as many games as you could (even though I know they would rather be anywhere else lol) to my mom and dad, thank you for always being at my games no matter what!! And again to my mom, thank you for being the best coach I will ever have and pushing me to be the best me I could be!! I love y’all so much!!

Thank you to everyone that has helped me along the way and taught me so many important life lessons!! Goodbye to an amazing softball career, hello cosmetology school!!
