To my parents ❤️

Thank you for being my biggest supporters, my safe place, and the foundation behind the woman I am today. As I prepare to walk across the stage tomorrow and receive my Bachelor of Science in Public Health, I realize this accomplishment would not have been possible without the both of you.

You raised a God-fearing, independent, strong, and extraordinary woman. You taught me the importance of faith, hard work, perseverance, and believing in myself even during difficult moments. Thank you for every sacrifice you made, every prayer you prayed over me, every word of encouragement, and every time you showed up for me no matter what.

Thank you for loving me endlessly and yes… spoiling me rotten along the way. ❤️ Everything you poured into me has paid off, and I hope I continue to make you proud every single day.

A special thank you to Mr. Ray, my Bonus Dad, for always supporting me, encouraging me, and treating me like your own flesh and blood. Thank you for always being there for your bonus babygirl and loving me unconditionally. Your kindness, support, and presence in my life have truly meant the world to me, and I will forever be grateful for everything you have done.

No matter how far I go in life, I will always be your little girl. This degree belongs to all of you just as much as it belongs to me. I love you more than words could ever explain. 🎓

Dear East Texas A&M,

In one week, I will proudly be graduating with my Bachelor of Science degree 🎓

At just 20 years old, I am honored to be earning my second degree—something I once dreamed about and now get to celebrate.

Above all, I thank God for giving me the strength, guidance, and perseverance to make it through this journey. Over the past three years, I have grown in ways I never imagined, and I’m so thankful for every experience that shaped me.

My journey began at Southern University, and I am honored to be finishing it at East Texas A&M. To Southern University—thank you for carrying me through my freshman year. I’m incredibly grateful for the foundation you gave me and the experiences I gained. I will always have love for my Jaguars 💙💛

Through every friendship, every challenge, and every moment of uncertainty, God knew exactly what I needed. He walked with me, strengthened me, and never left my side. For that, I am truly grateful.

Thank you, East Texas A&M, for helping me become the person I am today. This chapter is closing, but a new one is just beginning 🤍✨
