Prague - it was sweet to see you again after 10 years Here’s a few pics and a few blurbs.
i. Prague has always visually reminded me of San Francisco. This image really captures that feeling
ii. I went through a brief obsession with Thom Yorke’s Anima - for the music and the choreography. But also because reminded me of Prague, where it was filmed.
iii & iv. Dramatic lighting in Catholic Churches (you know I love dramatic lighting)
v. Went to the opera to see Macbeth, the first Shakespeare play I actually read beginning to end. The Czech production was unique and campy
vi. stomping around on the cobblestone streets
vii. a very Czech coded reminder
But of course my favorite moments were not captured on my camera, but in my memories and the pages of my journal 🖤 taken in Prague, Czech Republic by @_smayy

2025... we made it through by finding joy in music, dance, friends, food, nature. Often being too caught up in the moment to get a photo or video. Thanks to everyone that made this year shine bright through the darkness✨ 🖤✨

Misc moments.
(& last Peru post I promise)

Solo trip to a cevicería that Bourdain visited back in 2006. Paying homage to the man that has inspired me and the way I see and interact with the world.
Finding stray cats. Befriending stray cats.
An extremely touristy photo with bb alpacas but wow they were so cute. made it the whole trip without a single alpaca spitting at me. I think I’m an alpaca whisperer.
The restaurant Central. So many flavored foams. And artisanal cutlery.
And of course, the trip to Machu Picchu. The time in the Andes was both grounding and spiritual. taken in Peru by @_smayy

little 2 day trekking side quest down into colca canyon.
Our girl chocolaté (see slide 3) followed us all the way down into the canyon. 🫶🏻
Some homemade lomo saltado for lunch.
Maxed out at 16k feet at one point on the journey.
There are no roads to the bottom of the canyon so it’s either trek or taxi (which is actually a burro ride). taken in Samakuy Home Airbnb Arequipa by @_smayy

can’t get over these flowers from a walk yesterday.
so here is 4 photos of them.
they remind me of sorbet and that even though summer is flying by… it’s not over.
