“Leaving Has Another Name”

Some people were always going to outgrow the room they were given. Not because the room didn’t fit. But because they kept growing anyway — into themselves, into something that needed more space than this. Leaving and arriving are the same movement. You don‘t always know where you‘re going. You don‘t always know why. But at some point the moment is just there, and it’s okay. It’s okay to take up space. It’s okay to call it freedom instead of loss. This is not a story about saying goodbye.
