This afternoon, I found out that I've been diagnosed with Celiac Disease.

It is a chronic autoimmune disorder where eating gluten—a protein found in wheat, barley, and rye—causes the immune system to mistakenly attack and damage the lining of the small intestine.

Honestly this is hitting me hard on top of everything else going on in my life. I'll be having more tests moving forever and will make adjustments at the same time.

Photo Dump Time:

I realize I haven't been active on here so I wanna provide a life update.

Ever since I posted last to now, a lot has happened.

Took a trip with two awesome friends to Colorado last spring and saw beauty everywhere.

Got to also see my favorite CFB team @ohiostatefb
win a national championship earlier this year.

Plus finally getting to see my best friend Brandon again after so long.

Also seeing the northern lights again last fall was awesome.

Though beyond that its been rough. I lost my uncle and dealt with losing a dog that I was quite close with.

Mentally it's been rough, the roughest it's been in a long time over the past year trying to balance life and the burdens that have come along with it. Plus my medical conditions still are in full effect (carpal tunnel and trigeminal neuralgia)

I'll be honest I'm struggling badly but I'm trying to keep faith I can win this battle but I'm appreciative of all the support through all this.

I will try to be more active on here promise.

I can't believe last night happened, it felt like something out of a dream. Seeing the vibrant colors moving across the sky all around me, it didn't feel real but it was and I am forever grateful to have witness an unreal display of the northern. lights!

When I was younger, I got a glimpse of the northern lights and ever since then I strived to capture and see them again with my own eyes.

One year ago today that happened in my own backyard. Seeing those lights dazzle the night sky was something out of a dream. A night I will never ever forget!

I hope one day I can see them again, maybe this time in Iceland?

Well 2023 is coming to a close and honestly I am okay with that.

This year has been difficult on my mental health with the challenging battles life has thrown at me all year. Losing family, diagnosed with TN and a few other things. I wish I wasn't dealing with these mental health struggles but unfortunately I am.

Though through the struggles there was a handful of bright spots, including seeing a tornado while wearing my late grandpa's hat. Even though that was amazing, one more moment topped that and that was seeing the northern lights back in April. A night I will never ever forget.

Can't forget either spending amazing time with my loving family and friends.

I am hoping 2024 will be a better year and I can finally overcome these mental struggles but until then the battle continues.

Don't be afraid to seek help through friends and family, a simple message or call goes a long way.

This morning I was diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia which is a condition that causes painful sensations similar to an electric shock on one side of the face. This chronic pain condition affects the trigeminal nerve, which carries sensation from your face to your brain.

I will have to deal with this for the rest of my life as this is something that cannot be cured yet can be treated. Not going to lie, I am feeling a bit down right now about this.

Though as much as this will be nerve-wracking (pun intended) from time to time for the rest of my life, its not going to stop me from enjoying what I love to do in life and spending time with those that I love and appreciate the most.

What a day last Sunday was and it absolutely exceeded my expectations! Saw multiple tornadoes including this beautiful one near Strafford, TX. On top of that, the structure was absolutely insane as well. It was a blessing to see all of this with amazing friends that enjoy this as much as I do!
