TEMPER •

is a moody city bar that balances architectural strength with a sense of warmth and intimacy.

Sculptural furniture, richly veined stone, dark timber and aged metallic finishes create a space that feels curated and artistic, while softened forms, tactile upholstery and low ambient lighting keep the atmosphere relaxed and inviting.

The palette is restrained but sensuous, with smoky greens, deep plum tones, charcoal, blue and warm bronze creating depth without feeling overly dramatic. TEMPER is intended to feel like a place to linger, sophisticated and creatively stimulating, yet comfortable enough to settle into for an entire evening.

AFTER SWIM •

Is a relaxed, design led beach café inspired by the feeling of coming in from the coast after a long morning in the sun.

Rather than relying on obvious coastal motifs, the interior interprets the beach through material, colour and texture.
Cool blue veined stone, warm timber, terracotta tones, natural rattan and soft sculptural furniture.

The palette balances freshness with warmth, creating a space that feels casual and inviting while still refined and considered. herringbone and terracotta flooring, tactile finishes and a mix of relaxed lounge seating and cafe dining areas give the interior a slightly retro, contemporary character.

AFTER SWIM is designed to feel effortless and familiar. A place to stop for coffee, linger over lunch and carry the relaxed rhythm of the beach indoors. by @_studiosaro

Stitching back together a Japanese boro I annihilated because I thought I wanted it as upholstery fabric…… turns out it wasn’t what I wanted, but now I want it as a wall art piece in my dining room.
Luckily boros actually work because they’ve been worn down and chopped up 😅 so now it’s half sashiko stitched and half sewn because I’m impatient and cbf hand stitching forever. by @_studiosaro

I definitely spend more time than most people trawling the internet looking for cool sh*t.
Does it consume my life? Absolutely.
Do I hate it? Not even a little.

There are so many ridiculously talented creatives out there making incredible pieces, and I’m constantly inspired by them.
I’m especially drawn to the work where you can see the maker’s hand, the little imperfections, the craftsmanship, the feeling that a real person brought it to life rather than it rolling off a production line.

If you’re ever looking for someone to help you source something truly special for your home, you know where to find me. 😉 by @_studiosaro

You might not need more stuff….

You might just be in a different season with your style!

Does your space still feel like you, or does it feel like an old version of you? by @_studiosaro

Introducing Studio Saro.

I’ve been rearranging, styling and obsessing over interior spaces for as long as I can remember.
I even have this vivid memory of drawing house plans as a little girl.
It was technically a treehouse at the time, but still… the intention was there.

For 17 years my photography career gave me the chance to really understand people.
How they move, what they’re drawn to, their flavour, their energy.

I’ve always loved that part.

Reading people and translating who they are into something visual.
Now I get to carry that into the spaces they live and grow in.

Because a home isn’t just something that looks pretty.
It’s a sanctuary.
A landing place.
A safe exhale at the end of the day.
It should feel like you…. not like it was picked off a showroom floor or copied from a trend cycle.

Studio Saro is about creating interiors that feel personal, layered, and lived in. Spaces that support your life, hold your memories and evolve with you.
Beautiful…. Absolutely!
But more importantly, meaningful.

This is the beginning of a new chapter and I’m so excited to share the journey, the process, and the spaces that come to life along the way.

Thanks for being here from the start. by @_studiosaro
