This lil ol norty northlander and her dogs are putting New Zealand on the mother fucking INTERNATIONAL lash map 👏🏼

I never would have dreamed that I’d be winning awards at all, let alone on an international level - but you know what? I FUCKING DID THE DAMN THING ❤️‍🔥

I pushed myself out of my comfort zone, challenged my techniques, and proved to myself what’s possible.

This win isn’t just mine - it’s for every artist who’s ever doubted if they were ‘enough’.
I’m so proud to represent Aotearoa on this stage.

Introducing your 2025 LASH ARTIST OF THE YEAR ❤️‍🔥

A massive pinch-me moment that I’m still processing 🥹

I am so honoured to have been awarded Lash Artist of the Year. When I first started in this industry, I could never have dreamed I’d be standing here today. We can all be our own worst critics (myself included), so this award feels like such a huge milestone — a reminder that this is where I thrive.

Sublevo has never just been about extensions for me. It’s been about passion, resilience, and creating something meaningful. Every late night perfecting my craft, every creative risk, every client who trusted me — all of it has led to this moment.

And to make it even sweeter… I was also awarded The Sheree Miller Entrepreneur Award 🏆
This award honours a lash professional who turns vision into action — using knowledge and technical skill to grow their business, educate others, and elevate the industry through innovation and leadership.

To be recognised in both artistry and entrepreneurship in the same year is more than I could ever put into words and I am beyond grateful.

I am still quite lost for words with this one, but…

I WON BROW ARTIST OF THE YEAR AT THE GLOBAL LASHIE AWARDS 😭😭😭

Out of every award I entered, this was the one I wanted so badly.

And because I wanted it so badly, I almost wouldn’t let myself believe I could actually win it. I didn’t want to get my hopes up, so I think somewhere in my head I had already prepared myself for hearing someone else’s name.

But then they said mine.

Brow Artist of the Year.

On the other side of the world.

I’m still so shocked.

I have poured so much time, energy and passion into brows. I’ve obsessed over my craft, pushed myself to keep learning, questioned myself, backed myself and worked ridiculously hard to get where I am today.

I also placed 2nd for Client Retention, which makes this whole thing even more surreal. To be recognised not only for the work I create, but for the business and client relationships I’ve built around it is pretty bloody special.
If you heard me speak at the Aotearoa conference a few weeks ago you would know this is something I touched on and the importance of client relationships.

I think little Zoe would lose her fucking mind if she could see this.

From Whangārei, New Zealand to being recognised on a stage in America.

𝗭𝗼𝗲 𝗚𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗻-𝗛𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗲𝗹𝗹 is joining us on the LABSNZ 2027 stage with a conversation we think a lot of beauty business owners need to hear.

𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘉𝘭𝘶𝘦𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘵: 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘛𝘪𝘮𝘦, 𝘌𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘺 & 𝘉𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴.

Because somewhere along the way, being “good with clients” can turn into constantly making exceptions, bending your own rules and saying yes to things that are quietly draining you.

And eventually, that costs you.

Zoe is bringing the real lessons from building @_sublevo_ to the stage and unpacking what stronger boundaries can actually look like in a beauty business, without losing the client experience or suddenly becoming rigid as hell.

You’ll leave with practical ways to recognise where your boundaries are getting blurry, communicate expectations more clearly and build policies you can actually stand behind.

Less resentment.
Fewer grey areas.

For some reason, a couple of weeks ago I was trusted with a microphone in front of roughly 100 people 😂

I could have started by sharing a montage of all the quality information I gave to the crowd… but I feel like starting here with these bangers sums me up to a tee.

Unfiltered, slightly questionable at times, saying whatever comes into my head and hoping that I’m making a point along the way.

And I think that was actually one of my favourite parts about being up there.

I didn’t feel like I had to switch into some professional, perfectly-worded version of myself just because I was sitting on a stage with a microphone in my hand. I got to speak the same way I would if we were all sitting around having a conversation. Swear words, random side comments and all.

There’s something pretty bloody special about being given a space like that and feeling completely comfortable just being Zoe.

So Rauwhiro, thank you for trusting me with the mic. Questionable decision, but I’m very glad you made it 😂🫶🏼 by @_sublevo_
