This weekend at beach camp, I made the decision to be baptized.
Not because I had it all together, but because I’m done trying to live life my own way. I’ve been stuck in cycles of habitual sin, self-sabotage, shame, and doubt—but Jesus met me there with grace, freedom, and purpose.

I love Jesus, and I want to obey Him. I want to pick up my cross and walk with it daily—just like He carried His for me. Following Jesus isn’t just a one-time decision; it’s a lifelong journey of surrender, obedience, and becoming more like Him every single day.

The paradox of the gospel is this: when we give up our life for His sake, we gain real life in return. When we cling to our way, we miss the abundant life He freely offers. I’m done missing it. I want the life He died to give me.

And I wasn’t the only one. So many young lives were changed this weekend—chains were broken, hearts were healed, and students stepped into new life in Christ. Watching it all unfold reminded me that revival is happening in this generation.

If you’ve ever wondered what God is doing through @brandnewchurch + @brandnew_youth … it’s this. It’s real. It’s powerful. And it’s just the beginning.
