Nothing beats the smell of fresh banana cake baking on a quiet afternoon. Perfectly moist, lightly sweet, and the ultimate use for overripe bananas. Best enjoyed warm with a cup of tea or coffee. 🍌☕✨

Ingredients
2 ripe bananas, mashed
1.5 cups all-purpose flour (maida)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil (or melted butter)
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 cup milk (room temperature)
1 large egg (room temperature)
1 cup chocolate chips (reserve 2 tablespoons for topping)
(Optional) A pinch of salt to balance sweetness

Prep the oven and pan
Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease an 8-inch square baking pan or an 8.5x4.5-inch loaf pan, then line the bottom with parchment paper for easy removal.

Mix the wet ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, thoroughly mash the 2 bananas with a fork. Whisk in the 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup oil, 1 egg, 1/2 cup milk, and 1 tsp vanilla essence until smooth and combined.

Sift the dry ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the 1.5 cups flour, 1 tsp baking powder, and 1/2 tsp baking soda (plus a pinch of salt, if using). Sifting prevents lumps and helps the cake rise evenly.

Combine batter and fold chocolate chips
Do not overmix
Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture using a spatula just until no dry flour streaks remain. Toss the chocolate chips in 1 teaspoon of dry flour (this keeps them from sinking to the bottom), then gently fold most of them into the batter.

Bake to perfection
30 to 40 minutes
Pour the batter into your prepared pan and smooth the top. Scatter the reserved 2 tablespoons of chocolate chips over the surface. Bake at 175°C for 30–38 minutes (or 45–55 minutes if using a deep loaf pan), until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs (no wet batter).

Cool and slice
Let the cake rest in the pan for 10–15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing. by @_sundaychef

इस बारे में ज़्यादा सोचने की नहीं।

क्योंकि आखिर में…
ज़िंदगी आपकी है।
सपने आपके हैं।
और खुशी भी आपकी होनी चाहिए। ❤️

इसलिए… जो अच्छा लगता है, वो कीजिए।
छोटा शुरू कीजिए… लेकिन शुरू कीजिए।

क्योंकि अपने मन का काम करने में जो खुशी है…
वो किसी कमाई से बड़ी है। 🍫✨
