SUPER K is also headed to OTTAWA. the big Capital 🤓

after they've dealt with the house of commons, it's just a skip and a hop over to Elgin street, where they'll be playing at LIVE! on Elgin with their friends from Dead Gong (MTL) who fuse Bulgarian Metal and Turkish Psychedelia into a singular sound. Ummm, just what Ottawa needs right now!!!

tickets are live at the link in bio, tell your MP.

========
😏 Super K is a four-piece instrumental group based in Vancouver, BC. Guitarist Mik Bewsky and trumpeter Nikola Tosic write music rooted in their southern Balkan heritage and interpreted in contemporary styles such as surf, jazz and electronic psychedelia. Finishing touches by drummer Alex Reid and bassist Andrew Fyvie make the intricate grooves danceable for all audiences. Always searching for new sonic shapes and colours, Super K offers a refreshing perspective on traditional sounds. The band released their debut album in 2024.

😎 Based in the heart of Montreal, Dead Gong fuses Bulgarian Metal and Turkish Psychedelia into a singular sound. Their asymmetric music mixes warped brass, saturated guitars, and untamed drums. Straddling the line between tradition and modernity, the band leads listeners into uncharted sonic territory.

next up the boys of SUPER K are hitting up KINGSTON on Thursday August 21st.

according to that annoying AI google summary thing that no one can tell us how to turn off, Kingston highlights are the lakeside cruises and... live music! We're not joking, even the AI overlords think Kingston is the place to be for live music!

catch SUPER K at the Toucan with Fakejazz Orchestra and Dense, show starts at 9.30pm

no tickets, just go eat and drink at the TOUCAN and TIP THE MUSICIANS ON THE WAY OUT!
