After reflecting on this year’s event and the overall experience, we decided it was an easy decision to run it back next year.

A huge part of that decision came from the incredible feedback and positive energy you all brought to @_survival_games. Thank you for making this event so special and for showing up ready to have a good time!

Survival Games 2026 on film, I grabbed a roll of @kodak Tri-X 400 and the rangefinder with a 40mm lens and decided to give it a go. Plans already for next year on film 🤞🏼

Day 2 pushed every athlete past their absolute limit.

When the fatigue settled in, these teams didn't back down. They dug deeper, leaned on each other, and left every last ounce of energy out on the field. The grit on display was nothing short of legendary.

Slide through for a look at the chaos, the pain, and the final pushes from the closing events.

Tag a friend or teammate in the comments if you see them grinding in these shots, and share this to your story to show them some love.

The full athlete gallery is currently in the works and dropping very soon. Stay tuned... 👀

I had some goals heading into 2026, but leading a media team wasn’t on my bingo card. Thank you @_survival_games and @paradiselakeohio for the opportunity to step outside of my comfort zone as a photographer and step into the role as media director for the weekend.

I’m beyond proud of what the team was able to do this weekend. This year’s media team was comprised entirely of volunteers, many of whom had never captured competitive fitness before. They too stepped outside of their comfort zones and far exceeded any expectations I had coming into the weekend.

I’ve only been in the media space a short time, but in that time I’ve met incredible humans and traveled to some exciting events. I’ve gotten many opportunities because I put myself out there and people took a chance on me. I’m forever grateful for those opportunities.

After this weekend, my biggest take away is that I hope I can be that person for others when I’m able and provide opportunities to those who put themselves out there.

Athletes, your galleries will be available early next week. Until then, go support the creatives on this team and follow their socials.

All I can say is… WOW. 🤯

I’m overwhelmed by all the incredible people who came out to Survival Games at @paradiselakeohio I’m truly humbled by the kindness, encouragement, and compliments from so many of you.

Watching everyone push themselves, test their limits, and give it everything they had was seriously inspiring. The energy this weekend was something special.

Who knows… maybe this was a one-time thing. Maybe it’s just the beginning. 👀
