I am the voice inside your head
I am the lover in your bed
I am the sex that you provide
I am the hate you try to hide
I take you where you want to go
I give you all you need to know
I drag you down I use you up
Mr. Self-destruct
I speak religion's message clear
I am denial guilt and fear
I am the prayers of the naive
I am the lie that you believe
I take you where you want to go
I give you all you need to know
I drag you down I use you up
Mr. Self-destruct
I am the needle in your vein
I am the high you can't sustain
I am the pusher I'm a whore
I am the need you have for more
I am the bullet in the gun
I am the truth from which you run
I am the silencing machine
I am the end of all your dreams
I take you where you want to go
I give you all you need to know
I drag you down I use you up

Still falling
Breathless and on again
Inside today
Beside me today
Around, broken in two
Till your eyes shed
Into dust
Like two strangers
Turning into dust
Till my hand shook
With the weight of fear
I could possibly be fading
Or have something more to gain
I could feel myself growing colder
I could feel myself under your fate
Under your fate
It was you
Breathless and torn
I could feel my eyes turning into dust
And two strangers
Turning into dust
Turning into dust

Jeyne, her name is Jeyne, it rhymes with pain .
The music was growing more insistent. “It is time. Wipe those tears from your eyes.”
Brown eyes. They should be grey. Someone will see. Someone will remember .
“Good. Now smile.” The girl tried. Her lips, trembling, twitched up and froze, and he could see her teeth. Pretty white teeth , he thought, but if she angers him, they will not be pretty long .

Hang on to your hopes, my friend
That's an easy thing to say
But if your hopes should pass away
Simply pretend
That you can build them again
Look around
The grass is high
The fields are ripe
It's the springtime of my life
Seasons change with the scenery
Weaving time in a tapestry
Won't you stop and remember me
At any convenient time?
Funny how my memory skips
Looking over manuscripts
Of unpublished rhyme
Drinking my vodka and lime
I look around
Leaves are brown
And the sky
is a hazy shade of winter
Look around
Leaves are brown
There's a patch of snow on the ground
Look around
Leaves are brown
There's a patch of snow on the ground🎶❄️
A Hazy Shade Of Winter

"In #fiction, when you paint yourself into a corner, you can write a pair of suction cups onto the bottoms of your shoes and walk up the wall and out the skylight and see the sun #breaking through the clouds. In nonfiction, you don't have that luxury."

"Fishing is boring, unless you catch an actual fish, and then it is disgusting."

That's my nephew Oliver's new beta fish I snapped and edited over and over. I'll post a couple with the original just to try out the multiple photo thing. Do people notice when there's more than one pic? Definitely helpful when you don't know which version you prefer most☺️
Ps I don't really think fishing is boring. Well, it might be...I don't fish. But I do like Dave Barry 🤣 by @_susieb_

My favorite thing about this one is how incredibly different it is from the original photo and even the next to last step in editing. So neat to see how things transform and take you where you didn't even know you were going in the first place✋♒🆓💡➰🔑🔓 by @_susieb_

"A rose is a rose is a rose
Just like everybody knows
You feel the grass between your toes
And you smile
She knows I’m dreaming
But she likes me anyways
She sees me singing
But she likes me anyways
A rose is a rose is a rose
Just like everybody knows
You feel the grass between your toes
And you smile"

Been awhile- hope everyone's well! Just felt like posting something. I've made hundreds of "things" over the past few months and maybe I'll eventually get more posted...
