mean girls 💋

It’s going to take more than a caption to explain how much this show has meant to me. When I was 12 years old, I would sit in my room listening to Mean Girls on repeat, dreaming of playing Regina someday, for 6 years I convinced myself I would never get that chance. For years I was told that I wasn’t good enough, wasn’t strong enough, people laughing at me saying I wasn’t Regina material. Although this tore me down, it only made me work harder. For years I tried to prove myself. Then I discovered Quince. Quince gave me the chance to live a dream I never thought would come true. So thank you Quince for believing in me when barely anyone would. Thank you for bringing my love for theatre back. Thank you for welcoming me with such open arms. I will never forget the family I have created here in Quince. Thank you for an unforgettable summer. Love ya🫰

This year is different. This is my year, I can feel it, ‘26 baby

I don’t typically have a long caption for my new year’s post, however I believe this year deserves one. This year I lived, I loved, I laughed, I cried, but most importantly I learned. I learned that it’s okay to make mistakes, there are so many things I wish I could go back and change, but I can’t, and that’s okay. I spent so much time focusing on the past and future that I never focused on the present. I learned that it’s okay to lose. People will come and go and that’s just how life is. You will drift from people who you thought were going to be in your life forever, and as hard as it was for me to learn that, I’m happy I did, it helped me meet new people and branch out to form a connection with people who I can call family. I learned that not everyone is going to like you and that is okay. There were times this year where I would try to be someone I wasn’t just so someone would like me, so I could fit in, but that is the whole point, we aren’t supposed to fit in, everyone is different and if people don’t like you for who YOU are, then that’s not a person you want to associate yourself with. Finally I learned how to love myself. I always thought that if I made everyone else happy that I would be happy myself. However, I learned that I had to allow myself time to be happy and to find the happiness in myself before I could make everyone else happy myself. I am so thankful for all the amazing people I met this year and I wish everyone a Happy New Year!

ACHIEVEMENTS:
- I got accepted into the BFA Musical Theatre Program at UWSP
-Graduated High-school
-Got casted in my DREAM show, Hadestown
-Went to New York
-Saw my first broadway show which is also my favourite musical
-Got a callback!
-Went to my first concert
-Went to state for all three of my Solo Ensemble pieces and got a 1 on all three taken in Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin by @_sydneyconroy
