POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Music’s always been in me somewhere. Choir as a kid, guitar competitions, playing piano by ear. I’ve also always been putting things on the internet just as long, from Club Penguin tutorials on YouTube to blog posts during uni.

Last year, during a rough patch I decided to pick up some plastic decks, and dragged them around Mexico in a pink tote bag wrapped in clothes because I didn’t own a case yet. I went hostel to hostel and put in hours here and there to understand the basics and make some absolutely terrible blends.

For my YS debut set I was stuck in a dilemma: I love hard techno, bounce, and drum & bass, but nobody could tell me how to make DnB, hard bounce and hard techno live in the same set. Took a long time to figure out. This set is my answer.

Special Shoutouts to
- @radio_bar & @_rackjabbit for allowing me practice sets
- @kinekta.dnb for an unbelievable set video
- @yourshotau for lighting the fire
- @danceandbites @staminamelb @nervemelb for hosting banger events
- every local DJ that’s inspired me these last few years (you know who you are)

Full cleaned audio set is now on YouTube, with all the crowd hype, IDs and more. 🔗 in bio by @_t0k3n

🎧 YS 2026 DUMP ‼️

nervous and excited to cook up some very fun drum and bass, hard bounce, and hard techno this Sunday 👊🏼

the last couple of months have been some of the most intense ive ever gone through

yet ive met so many amazing, talented people from all walks of life sharing a love for music. true friends who go out of their way to support you 🙌

it’s been filled with with set planning, music production, gigs, procrastination, and having to put myself out there a lot more than I ever have

worth it 🤝 by @_t0k3n
