Aduke, ọmọ ìfẹ́, child of grace, wrapped in quiet light…

Ọmọ tí ń rìn díẹ̀díẹ̀, yet everything aligns for her,
The world bends gently in her favor.

Adùn ni Aduke, soft, calm, but deeply felt,
Like sunlight that doesn’t shout, yet warms everything it touches.

A kì í fi ọwọ́ kan ẹni tí Ọlọ́run ń tọ́jú
God’s own, covered in love, carried in mercy.

Aduke is a star that doesn’t compete, doesn’t rush,
But shines steadily, beautifully, in her own time.

Lónìí, mo gbà ọjọ́ mi pẹ̀lú ìtẹ́lọ́run
Today, I receive my life with peace, with gratitude.

Mo gba gbogbo ire tí ayé ní fún mi
I welcome every good thing meant for me.

Aduke is here
Not loud, not forced,
Just soft… and deeply blessed

PS: I crocheted the top with yarns from @yarnswithzander

I am very much grateful to have made it this far.
I have lived so many lives in the previous year and I am so glad that whatever I went through didn’t break my spirit.

All in all I’m a fine girl through and through 🥰
