One of the most powerful ways to save lives happens before puppies are even born.Neutering isn’t about taking something away from a dog, it’s about preventing suffering before it begins.One unspayed female dog can have dozens of puppies during her lifetime. Sadly, many of them will face hunger, disease, injuries, or never find a safe home.That’s why, at TAJDO, we believe rescue and neutering belong together. One saves the dogs we see today. The other protects the ones who would otherwise be born into a life of suffering.💬 What was your opinion on neutering before reading this post? 143 animals in just 4 days… 🤍🐾In nur vier Tagen konnten wir 143 Tiere kastrieren –darunter 121 Katzen und 22 Hunde.Was das bedeutet?Eine einzige, nicht kastrierte Katze kann mit ihren Nachkommen in wenigen Jahren hunderte bis tausende Tiere hervorbringen.Das heißt:Mit dieser Kampagne haben wir potenziell tausende Straßenleben verhindert, die sonst in Hunger, Krankheit und Leid geboren worden wären.Das ist nachhaltiger Tierschutz.Aber wir sind noch lange nicht am Ziel.Unser Plan ist es, solche Kampagnen 1–2 Mal im Jahr durchzuführen und das Tierheim weiter auszubauen, um noch mehr Tiere erreichen zu können.Jeder Euro hilft 🤍Spenden über PayPal, GoFundMe oder Banküberweisung (Link im Profil).Danke, dass ihr Teil davon seid 🐾🤍#zanzibaranimalcare #kastrationrettetleben #tierschutz by @_tajdo_

Together we made a difference for Zanzibar’s animals 🐾Over the past days we were part of an incredible sterilization campaign for dogs and cats here in Zanzibar. Our goal is simple but so important: to reduce uncontrolled breeding and prevent future suffering. 💌During our recent sterilization campaign, many dogs and cats were spayed and neutered. Every single surgery means fewer unwanted litters, less suffering, and a better future for animals on this island.This would not have been possible without @sinascolorcats from @rescuepawsofzanzibar together with @zacare_zanzibar wich made this campaign possible.A heartfelt thank you to all veterinarians from Zanzibar and Germany who volunteered their time, skills, and knowledge, and to all the incredible helpers who supported this mission.Seeing so many people come together for the animals was truly inspiring.This was more than just a campaign, it was hope, compassion, and a real step toward change for Zanzibar’s animals.Thank you to everyone who was part of this journey. ❤️🐾#zanzibar #animalwelfare #spayneuter #rescuepawsofzanzibar #togetherforanimals by @_tajdo_

Unsere erste große Kastrationskampagne ist erfolgreich zu Ende gegangen 🤍🐾Deshalb war es hier die letzten Tage etwas ruhiger, vor Ort war einfach unglaublich viel los. Es war eine ganz besondere Aktion und wir konnten so vielen Tieren helfen.Ein riesiges Dankeschön an alle Helfer, die vor Ort waren, einige sind sogar extra aus Deutschland angereist, viele aus meiner eigenen Community.Ein ganz besonderer Dank auch an die @tieraerzte_wiegandschlottmann die spontan mitgekommen sind und mit ihrer Erfahrung großartige Arbeit geleistet und ihr Wissen weitergegeben haben.Danke auch an @_tajdo_ für die ganze organisatorische Unterstützung, ohne dich wäre ich oft echt aufgeschmissen gewesen!Und natürlich ein riesiges Dankeschön an Makame und sein Team von @zacare_zanzibar 🙏 Ohne ihn, seine Ideen, seine Zeit und sein großes Herz für die Tiere wäre dieses Tierheim heute nicht das, was es ist. Auch seine Helfer und Tierärzte haben unglaublich viel dazu beigetragen.Unser Ziel ist es, solche Kastrationskampagnen ein- bis zweimal im Jahr durchzuführen und das Tierheim Schritt für Schritt weiter aufzubauen, damit wir noch mehr Tieren helfen können.Danke an jeden Einzelnen, der das möglich macht 🤍🐾 by @_tajdo_
