Two years ago, God gave me the greatest gift I could have ever received. The Lord has been evident in this relationship from the very beginning, and I will always be grateful to God for His faithfulness toward us. Proverbs 16:9 says, “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” I prayed throughout my entire peanut journey, simply asking the Lord to guide each step and lead me exactly where I am meant to be. I prayed that every word I spoke would come from Him and that everything I did would honor and glorify Him. I prayed for Him to place at least one person in my path whom I could impact. I prayed for sweet friendships—and He truly outdid Himself with this one! I prayed for calm nerves during pageant weekend and that every heart would be touched by His light. I prayed that His will, not mine, would be done. I asked for peace and understanding, trusting that whatever the outcome would be, it was His good and perfect plan, and I reminded myself that His plans are always good. As I reflect on this incredible opportunity I had the privilege to be part of, I am filled with nothing but gratitude and love. I am forever thankful I had the chance to represent my community on the big peanut stage, and I hope I made each and every one of you proud! God has shown me nothing but His love and grace, giving me an overwhelming sense of peace that can only come from above. As I step into this new chapter of my life, I will carry with me every memory, failure, friendship, hardship, and lesson learned throughout this process. I am so grateful for every single person who poured into me and believed in me, even when I didn’t always believe in myself. Thank you, Jesus, for your constant reminders that everything happens for a reason and that You are in every story. Peanut 2025, you were so good to me! 🤍 by @_taylorgracem
