Part 3: The Heart of Our Work.

We often say the veil between heaven and earth feels a little thinner at Teach|Her.

Through biblical teaching, honest community, and spaces where we can take off the masks, we practice what it means to be fully present—with God and with one another.

Our hope is that you leave not simply inspired, but equipped with practices and tools that help you live more aware of His presence in your everyday life.

PART TWO: Learn the Story.

Teach|Her didn’t begin with a retreat.

It began with a desire to create spaces where women could step away from the noise long enough to pay attention to what God is doing in their lives.

Spaces rooted in Scripture.
Spaces where questions are welcomed.
Spaces where women can rest, learn, listen, pray, and be formed alongside one another.

Over time, that desire became Teach|Her.

What began small has continued to grow—not simply into gatherings, but into a community of women pursuing a deeper life with Jesus together.

And while beautiful places are part of our story, the place has never been the point.

Formation is.
Learning to live as beloved daughters is.
Becoming more like Jesus is.

This is the story we hope to keep telling—and living—together.

If you know our founder, Mallory, you know that stories—and taking the time to learn people’s stories—are at the heart of who she is.

We believe there’s something powerful about offering a glimpse into our own lives. It creates connection, relatability, and trust—and reminds us there are real people behind the work we do.

5 DAYS LEFT TO REGISTER. ♡

There is something deeply beautiful about being in a space where you don’t have to perform, prove, or pretend.

Where vulnerability is welcomed, stories are held with care, and women are invited to experience what it means to be fully known and deeply loved.

This is the heart behind Teach|Her.

We create intentional spaces for women to step away from the noise, return to God’s Word, and make room for the slow, beautiful work of spiritual formation.

Not simply to gather, but to be transformed.

Not simply to learn more about Jesus, but to become more like Him.

February 1–3, 2027 | The Oaks, San Diego

Our time together will center on The Lord’s Prayer, with Scripture teaching, worship, meaningful conversation, shared tables, and protected rhythms of rest and solitude.

Registration closes October 17.

Perhaps this is your invitation to come as you are.

Be a part of something eternal.

Imagine what three days set apart could hold.

Beautiful spaces. Meals already prepared. Scripture opened together. Worship. Prayer. Long conversations. Quiet mornings. A walk outside. An afternoon with nowhere you need to be.

We have intentionally created Teach|Her with enough structure to invite formation—and enough margin to actually hear what God may be saying.

Come away with us to San Diego.

What does your “yes” include?

At Teach|Her, we want you to arrive and exhale—knowing the details have already been thoughtfully considered.

Your registration includes beautiful accommodations at The Oaks, curated meals + snacks, all Teach|Her programming, outdoor experiences, and roundtrip transportation from San Diego International Airport to The Oaks.

But what we hope you receive goes far beyond what’s included on a list.
Space to rest.

Room to be formed by Scripture.

Unhurried prayer.

Meaningful conversation around the table.

Solitude when you need it.

And a community of women seeking to live more fully as beloved daughters of God.

We have one more day of Early Bird registration for Teach|Her at The Oaks, February 1–3, 2027.

And we want to tell you a little more about one of our favorite ways to experience the gathering: the bunk rooms.

The Maverick + Birdie Rose rooms are elevated, beautifully designed spaces created for shared living. Come with three friends and fill a room together—or come on your own.

If you don’t already have bunk mates, we will thoughtfully pair you with women we believe will be a beautiful fit. Before we gather, each attendee will receive an intake form that helps us learn more about you. We’ll use that information intentionally as we make room assignments, with the hope of creating meaningful, like-minded connections.

And sharing a room does not mean sacrificing solitude.
Solitude is a core value of Teach|Her. The Oaks offers plenty of beautiful spaces beyond your room to step away, be quiet with the Lord, journal, walk, pray, or simply rest. We intentionally build room for this into our days together.

Come with your people—or trust us to help you meet some new ones.

Sometimes all someone needs is the opportunity to be asked. Who could you invite?

Early Bird pricing ends September 30 at 9PM.

There is something sacred about hearing what women carry home with them.

Not simply a beautiful few days away, but a renewed nearness to God. A deeper desire for prayer. Permission to rest. The gift of honest community. A reordering of what matters most.

These are the words of women who have gathered with us at Teach|Her—and they capture so much of what we pray for each retreat: that women would come away, so they can come back differently.

Rested. Reoriented. Reminded of what is true. And more deeply rooted in Christ. ♡ by @_teachher

A glimpse into our days together.

We’re intentionally creating a rhythm that leaves room to receive—not rush. Scripture. Worship. Formation. Prayer. Honest conversation. Shared tables. And protected space to simply rest and be with God.

Nothing hurried. Nothing to perform. Just an invitation to come as you are, make room, and allow the Lord to meet you there.

Week 5 | The Soul of Shame

What if learning itself is an act of vulnerability?

To be curious requires us to admit we don’t know. To ask questions. To risk being wrong. And Curt Thompson reminds us that curiosity flourishes when we feel safe enough to be known.

Perhaps the goal isn’t to create spaces where we never fail, but spaces where we know failure will not ruin us.

This week, consider: Are the relationships and spaces you’re cultivating safe enough for curiosity? For questions? For mistakes? For growth?

May we become women who are secure enough in being known and loved to keep learning. by @_teachher
