Day 3 at TAFTA Academy, and what an experience! ✨🎥

So much to learn, relearn and unlearn. Every facilitator came with a wealth of knowledge, practical insights, and lessons that have definitely added more value to my creative journey.

Beyond the sessions, I’m grateful for the amazing creatives I met, the conversations, the connections, and the beautiful community we’re building. 🤝🏽❤️

A huge thank you to TAFTA Academy and Mastercard Foundation for creating this platform and investing in the next generation of African creatives. 🙌🏽

And to the brands watching… 👀
I’m open to amazing collaborations, creative opportunities and partnerships. Let’s create magic together! 🎬

Day 1 at TAFTA Academy CreatorsHQ and I’m already taking home so many gems!

Being among 150 women creators selected for this experience is such a privilege, and today was a reminder that being a creative is not just about creating—it’s also about protecting yourself, your work and your voice.

But one lesson stood out for me:

As creatives, we need to learn how to protect ourselves just as much as we learn how to create. ❤️

And this is only Day 1!
I’m excited for everything else TAFTA Academy has in store.

Sometimes, you find something sitting quietly in your drafts for months, and when you finally come across it, you realise… maybe this was meant to be shared after all. 🥹❤️

Earlier this year, I completed my NYSC journey and had my POP in May. Looking back now, I can confidently say that NYSC was more than just a compulsory service year for me. It was a training ground — a season where I had the opportunity to learn, unlearn, and relearn.

I was initially deployed to Cross River State, but eventually redeployed to Lagos, where I served in Mushin-Odi Olowo LCDA. I decided to step out of my comfort zone and become part of the executives, taking on the role of Project Manager.

That experience taught me so much about leadership, teamwork, responsibility, people, and most importantly, myself.

There were moments that challenged me, moments that stretched me, and moments that reminded me of just how much grace I carry. But through it all, God remained faithful.

Today, I’m simply grateful. 🤍

Grateful for the opportunity to serve my country.
Grateful for the people I met.
Grateful for the lessons, the growth, the memories, and even the difficult moments.
And most importantly, grateful to God for seeing me through and bringing me to the finish line.

So, here’s to that chapter — NYSC, thank you for the memories and the lessons. 🇳🇬✨

And as I close this chapter, I’m stepping into the next one with faith, knowing that God has so much more in store.

To everything He has ahead of me… I’m ready. 🤍
