What a mastering rack actually contains — and why none of it is an effect.

Analog summing explained — why the mix leaves the computer.

Thirty-two channels through a tube summing mixer, built in Germany. The mix goes out of the box and comes back in, and somewhere in that trip the parts stop sounding like parts.
