Documenting My Nursing Journey But This Time In A Mental Health Facility 😭

Honestly, I've had mixed feelings about this posting. The orientation and lectures just made it a bit more scary, why are we learning survival skills???
What do you mean I'm liable to harm???

Anyways there's an interesting part of mental health which is understanding behavior, actions or responses, dysfunction, mental orientation and the brain in general.

Thus Far Has The Lord Helped OFURE
I'm grateful to God for the First Half of the Year and super excited for the Second Half of the Year.

In the First Half of the Year, I got a song AMIN by BBO. I thought it was going to be an easy one because of the song I got. Little did I know that I was enrolled into the Strong Army Association of God!! It felt like I was living each day as it came, I reached out to friends but nothing changed until a mentor told me to go back to God. It seemed as if a scale fell off my eyes after talking to God, I had been complaining and ranting to anyone that gave a listening ear.

Finally, I was able to reroute and maximize the season I was in and then came another song Have You Seen by JUDIKAY. The Lord helped me tick a lot of boxes, prayers were answered, I grew and still growing, I healed, I cried (such a cry baby 😂), I met amazing people and let go of some too, I entered a new level, I invested in me and above all I learnt to be strong in the midst of the storm. Goshhhhh I wanted some phase to end quickly but God said lessons must be learnt!!!

I can't wait to unfold all that the Lord has for me in this Second Half.

I was so excited about my community posting… until I got to the hostel I’d be staying in 😭💔.

The excitement disappeared instantly, and all I could think was, how am I going to survive here for one whole month? 🥲🏠✨

When I started studying Nursing, I looked forward to clinical postings so much and when it finally happened, it felt surreal — such a beautiful experience. 🤍🩺

For my first clinical posting (Medical-Surgical), I had the opportunity to rotate through four different units: A&E, Labour Ward Theatre, Surgical Ward, and the Specialist Clinic. Each one stretched me, taught me something new, and made the journey feel even more real.

This is just the beginning ✨
