Took an impromptu trip down to West Virginia last weekend to pick up my dream old school. This side of my life is something I’ve always kept off social media but if you know me then you know just how much these cars mean to me.

Follow my car page ( @_thebluecoupe ) to learn more about my journey actually picking up the car, to see my future upgrades and to get digestible insight on how to mechanically care for a car from a non mechanic🚙🤘🏾

STORAGE FIND: The school my dad teaches at is moving and in the process they uncovered a super clean fox hatchback shell and a bunch of parts (engine blocks, interior/exterior trim, suspension, different size cowl hoods, doors, the list goes on). They suspect that this all has been sitting in the same spot for atleast 10-15yrs since the last shop teacher left. The sad part is that the majority of this will likely not find a home and will be taken to the scrap yard since the school has to get rid of it all before completing the move. While my car is a notchback and not a hatchback I would still love to grab whatever I can repurpose but we have to wait until the school gets a green light from their legal department🤞🏾 taken in Ohio by @_thebluecoupe

Finally made it out to @tx2k and it met all my expectations. Spent more time off my phone than on it enjoying the cars and great weather with my dad. Saw some amazing passes by a bunch of great builds and was able to get up close and personal with them. Would be cool to get my car down there some day but we’ve still got a long way to go until then🤞🏾 taken in Texas Motorplex Speedway by @_thebluecoupe
