Isn’t it beautiful that we don’t have to figure life out by ourselves? Isn’t it beautiful that we have access to the mind of Christ? Isn’t it beautiful that by the Spirit of God that we have received, we can know the wonderful things God has given us even as it pertains to life and godliness?

Isn’t it beautiful and comforting that our Father says He will instruct and teach us the way to go and that He guides us by His eyes? (Ps 32:8)

Isn’t it beautiful that it comes from the One who has never failed but has proven to be faithful regardless of our unfaithfulness!

I pray that this becomes Rhema to you, and that it becomes your daily consciousness! That you’re not alone! That even in the silence, God is there! Worthy of your trust❤️

Over time, I’ve learned that confidence on stage is not magic. It is usually the result of three things: Planning, Preparing, and Praying. That’s what keeps me grounded every time I hold a microphone.

I’m sharing this because I know there are many emerging hosts, moderators, speakers, and comperes who are still finding their voice and their confidence on stage. If that’s you, you’re not alone. We are all learning, growing, improving, and figuring it out one event at a time.

I would really love to connect with more hosts and public speakers both experienced and emerging.

In February, a remarkable recommendation opened the door for me to host the Emeritus Vice Chancellor’s Valedictory Service for Prof. Abayomi Fashina at Federal University Oye-Ekiti. It was an unforgettable experience working alongside such brilliant minds @fuoye_sug @fuoye.susc, and @fuoyesujc.

Back in January, I found myself pausing more than usual.

When a lecturer I deeply respect, Dr. Opeyemi Omotuyi (HOD, Private Law), personally called and asked me to host the Faculty of Law fireside chat themed Legal Practice in the 21st Century, my first response was excitement — followed closely by responsibility. Because some invitations are not about availability; they are about trust.

Standing in that room at the Faculty of Law, Federal University Oye-Ekiti, I was not merely holding a microphone. I was holding space — for questions, for clarity, and for honest conversations about what the future of legal practice in Nigeria truly demands.

The students listened with intent.
The speakers spoke from experience, not scripts.
And the conversations lingered long after January passed.

Each speaker brought depth and presence. Every contribution was deliberate. The room was filled with professionals showing up fully and speaking with purpose.

One moment that stood out to me was at the close of the session. As Otunba Obafemi Adewale, SAN, was leaving, he stopped, asked to see me, shook my hand firmly, and expressed his appreciation for my delivery. It was a brief exchange, but a meaningful affirmation.

Looking back, I am grateful — not only for the opportunity, but for the reminder that quiet consistency, when recognised, opens doors.

It’s definitely not too late to say… “Welcome to the 2nd half of the year!” 😌🥳

I honestly don’t know why I’ve shied away from posting this. Maybe because it doesn’t feel like the “perfect” Instagram-worthy post…😅😩

But, one key lesson I’m carrying from the first half is, I have the power to define my own wins, either big or small. And it’s my job to celebrate them unapologetically 🥂✨
