Art has a beautiful way of bringing strangers together and leaving them with something to think about.

Thank you to everyone who made the Charity Art Exhibition 2026 a meaningful experience. From thoughtful conversations to shared laughter and moments of reflection in front of the paintings, every interaction reminded me why I create.

Grateful to Mickey De Jong and @wallacedaviesejoh for organizing such a beautiful event and to everyone who came to support the exhibition and its charitable cause.

Here’s to creating, connecting and making art that lingers long after we leave the room. 🥂

Life has a way of taking from us the people who once made our world feel whole. But love does not disappear with absence. It remains in our hearts, in our memories and in the moments where their voices still echo within us.
This piece was created for a client in honor of his late parents... A way of holding on, a way of remembering, a way of rebuilding his world on canvas because sometimes when life changes everything, we paint our own world... not to replace what was lost but to keep it alive.
They are not gone. They live in the stories, the laughter remembered, the lessons carried forward and in every heartbeat that still calls them home.

Survival is not a choice. It is a weight carried daily, often without witness. This work reflects the immigrant’s ongoing act of balance within systems that demand adaptation without accommodation. The figure remains upright, not in triumph but in persistence. Every movement is shaped by pressure and every moment is measured by what must be endured.
"The Weight of Survival" speaks to the unseen labor of staying... of holding oneself together in spaces that were never designed to hold you.
