“It’s your responsibility to make your Dreams Come true” — Pa Joel said in our newest Short Film, CAGED BIRD.

The request to be a part of bringing this film to life came at the lowest point of my life. I read the script, the story felt like it was speaking to me. Suddenly, every fibre in my being was excited to be on it I hadn’t even agreed 🤣 but I couldn’t disagree, I’d be setting myself up for implosion.
Every time I rewatched this film in the editing room, it reminded me to keep going no matter what because “it’s my responsibility to make my dreams come true”

We made a film to reassure and motivate people chasing dreams no matter what their insecurities tell them.

Please watch CAGED BIRD on REBEL FILMSNG YouTube page 🙏🏽

Oh and I was also casted 🤭

I still relish the moments working on this film gave to me. One of my best Editing experiences ever! This film tested me, stretched me, opened me to fresh perspectives and made me get my spark back! This is my first love y’all. I color graded up to 20 versions of this film just to get this natural look. Shout out to @rebelfilmsng for trusting me, it’s an honor.

I’m pleased to announce my involvement in the Editing of a Film highlighting an important moment in Nigeria’s history.

So I decided to skip my normal workflow of Cut in Premiere and finish in Resolve to learn how to edit in Davinci Resolve.
What better way to start than with vlogs??? I experimented with a lot of trackings and I love it.
