This year has definitely been filled with lessons and blessings and I am so thankful to God for them all. I've learned to listen to my body and do what feels well in my heart. I'm thankful to be way more conscious of my energy and the energy that surrounds me. I live in every moment and seize every day so this journey has so many more seasons that I'm looking forward to experiencing. I'm living life out loud with no boundaries except for the 1s I set...Tuh

1 month ago my life changed forever. I am blessed and thankful for the process. This last year was rough battling complications with my Crohn's Disease then later finding out I had aggressively attacking uterine fibroids. I was sick as a dog BUT MY GOD had a different plan for my life and I trusted the process. #StillDo I was redirected to an amazing team of doctors that hit the ground running. They saw the issues and devised a plan that was best for me.

After not being able to hold food down and severe abdominal pain the decision was made. On March 20, 2023, I had a combined surgery having a total Hysterectomy (take it all) AND Colectomy removing a portion of my colon. I was nervous but I knew I was in good hands, 🎵"God you can blow my mind". #AndDid Today I find myself constantly saying Thank You Jesus🙌🏾, I feel amazing. I don't have any that abdominal pain from before. However, I am still healing and a work in progress on the road to recovery. I am ever so thankful and grateful for my FRAMILY🙌🏾 (family, friends and loved ones). I love yall so much. The calls, the text messages, the likes and love emojis, the videos, the pics, the laughs that were so needed...I can't thank y'all enough.

My Momma Tresa D, Thomas and Beverly...y'all are the real MVP's. I could not have gotten through this without you all. I love y'all til the end of time. I am ever so grateful for your love, comfort, muscle and constant support. 💕 I am beyond blessed and highly favored.

Hey Pops💜

Whew what we wouldn't give to get a heavenly hug from you...It's been 1 heck of a year but we can do hard things.
Things are so different.

"New Normal"?! What is that? So many things don't feel real but I don't take them for granted and try my best to live in each moment.

Emotions are all over the place.
Silence feels overwhelmingly loud now.
Noise seems awkwardly quiet at the same time and it is so weird.

I often find myself staring off into the distance in a daze deep in thoughts of what's next and how did we get here 💔 but also "Watcha Doiiiiin"💕!!!

Momma is so amazing. She is loved by so many and is so resilient even in the midst of this unimaginable pain.

Turnae is being strong and supportive even in his silence like you've taught him.

Now for me, I'm struggling with the reality of it all while being momma's supportive but emotional bodyguard because you know I don't play about her.

We are doing the work though and I'm #PlaynNPlants.

My therapist is so amazing with helping me give myself grace and soothe these anxious feelings cause Pops you know I have so many got so unanswered questions #iykyk 🤫🤐

Our 1st 2026 Family Vacation to Destin, Florida

This was much needed and overdue.
We are choosing to celebrate many first holiday's and celebrations together since loosing pops💜

We celebrated Turnae's birthday with good food, beautiful views and a visit to Crab Island.
10/10 recommend 💯
