Life’s speeding up and slowing down in all the right ways, and in all the ways I wouldn’t have chosen for myself. Learning to leave my desires on the altar and follow God is pretty tough. It costs you nothing and everything. Not in a “woe is me” way, more like a “anything worth having is worth working for” way. Value and effort go hand in hand, and anything that comes from the Lord is more valuable than everything else
