Leave is over!
I return to capitalism tomorrow 🥲
These are a few pictures to summarize the last couple of days.

Kemji carried me to a carpenter's shop. Apprenticeship o, apparently.

Carpenter's shop again. Sorry, you can't hear what we were saying.

Someone bought me an entire stack of books. Non-fiction that I actually do like. This one, in particular, is gold. If you're selling a service to people, you gotta read it.

Beauty is shrinkage, or something like that.

My sister made overnight oats. Pure bliss. Very delicious. Put peanut butter in everything, my friends.

My Leave-ventures!

I went to The Bakehouse!
This place has been open for a while and I didn't know until earlier this year, and I knew I'd come back to check them out. And I did!
Tis a nice cozy space, small, but the food is great.

Check out the decor, especially that chandelier thing, really lit the whole place up.

I got there late, so most of their offerings were finished. I really wanted to eat their cake, but fitfam! Maybe next time!

This jollof rice! I had no words. It looked plainish, but the minute I took the first spoon, I knew that aroma wasn't deceptive. My gawwwwdddddd, they ought to give the chef a raise!

I'm not a baked goods person but according to my mom and @babygee_03 , they hit the spot. Especially the coconut bread.

Fit check!

Oh, and they have a grill section too, it wasn't open when I was ready to leave. If you're around Ikotun/Ejigbo/Ijegun, they're located opposite SCOAN (synagogue church).

Ladies and gentlemen!
My side quest, in pictures.

I have a theory that the poorer the service is at a restaurant/local food spot, the better the food is. And that theory has been tested and tested and trusted, over and over again.

The exterior, please ignore. It's typical of Lagos.

The interior. Point and kill like you have never seen before. Catfish the height of my baby cousin, fowls that can barely support their own weight.

To while away time, ayo and Jenga. Kemji trounced me soundly, not my fault cause I haven't played ayo since primary school.

Just look at that plate of deliciousness. My boasting in the mud. I managed to finish the plate, barely. That sauce was everything and more!
