A great apartment isn’t just about the finishes. It’s also about how the space feels when people walk through it.

A mural can bring personality to an otherwise empty wall and give a property a stronger sense of place. It can make a lobby feel more welcoming, give a common area something people remember, or turn an amenity space into somewhere residents actually want to spend time.

It’s not just decoration. The right mural can help a space feel more intentional, more connected to the community, and less like every other apartment building.

I’ve always felt like nature does something to us that’s hard to explain.

Growing up, nature became a place where I could slow down, clear my head, and just be. The ocean, the mountains, the tropical plants… those memories have stayed with me.

I think that’s a big reason why I paint the way I do today.

When I create botanical murals, I’m not just thinking about what will look good on a wall. I’m thinking about the feeling I want someone to have when they walk past it.

Maybe it reminds them of a vacation they took.

Maybe it brings them back to a peaceful moment.

That feeling of peace and escape is something I’ve experienced through nature my whole life, and now I get to put that feeling into my work.

I guess that’s what I love most about my murals

God has put it on my heart to motivate and inspire other artists to keep going—to have faith in what they’ve been called to do, even when the path doesn’t make sense.

But this journey has also taught me something just as important:

Don’t forget to live while you’re chasing the dream.

I’m working toward $100K, but for me, it was never just about a check.

It’s about building a life that allows me to experience the world, create meaningful work, connect with people, and use my gifts to inspire someone else to believe in what’s possible for them.

So keep working. Keep believing. Keep going.

But don’t get so focused on the destination that you forget to enjoy the life God is giving you along the way.

The dream isn’t just what you accomplish.

It’s the life you get to live while becoming the person you were called to be. by @_therealoneplus

A blank wall might not seem like a big deal, but in a hotel or apartment community, every space is part of the experience.

A nature-inspired mural can bring warmth and personality into a space while creating a stronger sense of place. It can turn a lobby, rooftop, hallway, courtyard, or amenity space into somewhere residents and guests actually want to spend time.

And when a space feels unique, people are more likely to remember it, photograph it, and share it.

That’s what I think about when I create a mural. I’m not just trying to fill an empty wall. I’m thinking about how the artwork can make the entire property feel.

Another mural project officially booked. 🙏🏽

At the beginning of this year, I set a goal for myself: to take my art business more seriously, reach out to more people, and create opportunities instead of waiting for them to come to me.

It hasn’t been easy. There have been unanswered emails, proposals that went nowhere, long days painting, and plenty of moments where I questioned if I was doing enough. But every challenge has taught me something and pushed me forward.

I’m incredibly grateful to God for continuing to open doors and guide my path. And I’m thankful for every client who trusts me to transform their space with my artwork. That trust is something I never take for granted.

We’re just getting started. This year I’m getting straight to it 🌿🎨

Most artists think the hardest part of being a muralist is painting.

It’s not.

The hardest part is building a business around your creativity.

Learning how to find the right clients, communicate value, price your work, and create relationships that lead to bigger opportunities.

A mural isn’t just artwork on a wall.

For hotels, restaurants, apartments, and commercial spaces, murals can become a part of the guest experience — creating memorable spaces, stronger branding, and environments people want to share.

For artists, the goal isn’t just to get more commissions.

The goal is building a creative business that gives you freedom.

This mural transformed the back parking lot of a neighborhood market into something people actually notice, photograph, and gather around. What used to feel hidden now feels connected to the neighborhood — like it belongs to the culture and the people around it.

Public art has the power to increase engagement, create memorable experiences, and give spaces a story people want to return to. Especially in growing neighborhoods, real estate and commercial spaces need more than clean walls and modern finishes — they need character, emotion, and connection.

That’s what I aim to create with every mural. 🌿
