Hosting this sequel for @marvels__diary felt like a family reunion. To see all the amazing faces again all in one space, was everything.

@marvels__diary , thank you for being a living example of what it means to just start, you asked me to host, but I feel like I just got a front-row seat to what happens when you refuse to stay still. Thank you for the trust, I’m so glad I got to witness and host this chapter.

Your ruminating on what went wrong, what was said, what wasn’t said, doesn’t change a single thing. it doesn’t undo it. it just keeps you in a loop of “what-ifs”.

But the best thing you can do for yourself is develop the ability to move on quickly from negativity. Why? The more you sit with it, the more magnified it looks to you. The more magnified it looks, the harder it is to move past it.

Do yourself a favour, take even half the energy you’ve been using to replay the bad times, and pour it into replaying the good ones, the things that actually deserve your attention,
your mind will go where you send it, start sending it somewhere better.

Everybody gets the “it’s okay, you’re new” phase. But what about when you’re a year in and you still trip over the same thing you thought you already fixed?

That’s the part that messes with your head, Like you should’ve known better by now.

But growth isn’t a straight line where it’s all fresh and clean without the flops. The only real difference is you just get better at recognizing the mess-ups faster and you pick yourself up.

P.S: i’m in love with my new voice😂

The enemy is raging in their midst, but God has called a remnant.

They will understand who they are.
They will go from confusion, to knowing why they are here.
They will receive strength, to give up impure pressures.
They will be anchored.
They will be refined.
They will SOAR!

This is the future, and we're nurturing it NOW.

I'm still basking in the beauty of The Gathering by @marvels__diary. I had the most beautiful time ♥️

The speakers came full and ready to dispense, and trust me, it was amazing learning from them.
It was refreshing to sit in a room with people so open to creativity and such level of depth.

I was especially moved by the idea of the silent curriculum, the values and beliefs we absorb without being taught, simply by exposure and normalisation. We’re always learning, even without a syllabus

Grateful for rooms that stretch my thinking, The Gathering was one of those rooms♥️

I didn’t just attend The Gathering. I left with a new perspective on things I already felt, but hadn’t named.

When I look at how far God has brought me, and I look at where I’m coming from, I see clearly that i’m sitting comfortably in the answers of the prayers I laid down long ago!

God is super invested in you and in me, never forget that.

Last week, I got to sit with 27 beautiful girls at the Godfident Woman event by Growt Scholars Foundation. @growt_scholars_foundation

We laughed, talked, shared stories, and poured into one another, and honestly, my heart is still so full.

I’ll always love moments like this… speaking life, sharing truth, and growing with teenagers. ♥️
