FROM WRECKAGE — OUT NOW

This record coming to fruition has been a long, bittersweet journey. And today, we finally get to share it with everyone.

We’re incredibly proud of these songs, and incredibly grateful to everyone who helped us make them. The people who supported us, played shows with us, gave us a stage, and kept us moving forward when moving forward felt impossible.

From Wreckage is about anger, grief, duality, survival, and finding a reason to keep going.

We wish more than anything that all five of us were here to see it released.

Hello, Thrashlings,

We’re very happy to finally say: FROM WRECKAGE is done.

This album has been through a lot with us, and getting it across the finish line means more than we can really put into words. Thank you so much to everyone who has checked in on us, supported us, given us space when we needed it, and patiently waited while we figured out how to put ourselves back together and keep moving forward.

From Wreckage will be available on Bandcamp and streaming platforms on 10/2/26.

On 11/8/26, we’re celebrating its release at @thehallowedhallspdx with our friends @seditionistspdx and @nervedamageofficial The show is a benefit for @moshthroughthemisery an organization whose mission means a whole lot to us.

And just to answer a couple of questions we've gotten:

Yes, Thrash Course is still a band. 💃
No, we haven’t found a bassist yet. Please DM us if you are interested!

We’re really grateful you’re still here with us.

See you in November. 🖤 by @_thrash_course_

Back in the studio finishing our record with @jon_wade92 (thank you so much for all your hard work on this!)

It’s been heavy doing it without Daryn in the room with us, but getting this album finished matters now more than ever.

Daryn put his voice, his bass, his energy, and himself into these songs. We’re grateful that at least part of him will live forever through the music.

Can’t wait for you all to hear it. 🖤 by @_thrash_course_

Friends, it’s Amitai.

Thank you everyone for your support and encouragement through this difficult time as we mourn the loss of our friend, our brother, Daryn. His departure was a shock and we grieve with his wife Kayli and his loving family.

When it happened we had to attend to the initial wound and see off the process of acceptance. Then we asked all the necessary questions, what now? when? how? and all of that.

These questions didn’t take too long to answer. Most of it regarded whether and how we continue as a band and as pertains to the debut album, nearing completion. Well, I believe Daryn would say he wants us to release the album asap. After all, his recordings are already finished! His bass and his fucking voice is there waiting to be heard.

He would also want us to continue forward as a band and I don’t think he would want us to waste too much time. He knows how much work it takes to make this happen.

So it’s time to ask, who wants to help us bring this band forward into the future? We are looking for a bass player. The requirements are

1) You like the songs enough that you actually want to learn them
2) You can hang with the songs and can deal with unusual rhythms
3) You have Saturday late afternoons available regularly
4) You aren’t an asshole, a raging alcoholic or a hard drug addict

The idea of this band is to, through heavy punky metal, effectuate an experience of liberation, insight, and humor. It’s about enriching lives through stimulating rhythms that have no business being as visceral as they are. It’s about inclusivity and invites everyone to thrash in the manner of their own expression.

Please drop us a DM if you are interested in auditioning or email Amitai at Lschwrtz@gmail.com by @_thrash_course_

Hello Thrashlings,

I don’t know the right way to say this. How you’re supposed to say something like this.

Our brother and bassist, Daryn Olson, passed away on Friday, 4/17.

We loved him. And we’re hurting.

Our hearts go out to his wife Kayli, his family, and the many friends he made along the way.

We’ll share more when we can.

Please take care of yourselves and look after your people.

We love you.

Hello, Thrashlings! 🖤 We started off the new year so hard with back to back shows at Dante's and Azoth that we had to take an instagram break for 6 weeks about it. That's what happens when you have too much fun in the wasteland, I suppose.

We are so close to our album being finished- all the recording is finally done! And the mixes we have are sounding awesome, thanks to our amazing engineer/producer/mixer/everything, @jon_wade92 at @pestilentpathproductions Hope to have it all buttoned up in the next couple months and then we'll actually have something people can listen to 💃

Thank you to all you lovlies who have supported us thus far- we hope to make you proud when this thing finally comes out.

Untill then, come see us at High Watermark on 3/21. Its been too long. 😘 by @_thrash_course_
