A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made the 2026 Konki Tournament a huge success! ⚽🏆To all the players, officials, coaches, volunteers, vendors, fans, and the 500+ attendees who showed up and made the day unforgettable — thank you so much for being part of this journey.This year, we celebrated 5 years of impact, honouring the community, connection, and sense of belonging that the Konki Tournament has built over the years. That impact was visible throughout the day — through the incredible matches, conversations, and interactions.We heard beautiful stories of people who reconnect every summer through this tournament, creating friendships and memories that continue year after year. These stories are the true measure of the impact we are building, and we remain committed to creating more spaces where our community can come together.This year, we also took steps to make the tournament more inclusive by creating opportunities for women and children to participate. We are proud to officially announce the 5th edition of the Konki Tournament, taking place on June 13th, 2026 at G. Ross Lord Park.What started as a football tournament has grown into something much bigger — a celebration of culture, identity, inclusion, and belonging. For the past five years, the Konki Tournament has brought together communities from across the diaspora through the power of sport, connection, and shared experiences.This year, 12 teams from different communities and backgrounds will compete in an exciting day of football, unity, and community pride. Over the years, we have learned that this is more than just a game- it is a space where connections are built, identities are affirmed, and community thrives.The past two years have highlighted the critical importance of inclusion. In 2024, we proudly featured co-ed teams, and last year marked a historic moment with our first female referee. This year, we are excited to continue that momentum with a special women’s exhibition match and a kids’ soccer clinic, expanding opportunities for participation across all ages and backgrounds.We invite you to register your team today. Our hearts are full! 🙏 27th September 2025, we witnessed the power of community in action. Thanks to the incredible efforts of our dedicated volunteers and the generous support of our partners, we successfully provided food and clothing to 78 families and over 128 individuals in our city.A massive thank you is not enough for the unwavering support from @liunaaacc and the wonderful community at @churchhouseofdestinylondon .
