HABITUS Invites 090: @_tiemokokone

Tièmoko Koné has slowly been carving out a name for himself with contemporary, stripped-back productions that remain deeply emotive and groove-led. Born in Germany with African roots, he brings a particular feel for rhythm and subtle swing to both his tracks and DJ sets, prioritising deep grooves and rhythmic clarity over density.
His production journey began with the launch of the Berlin-based imprint HYPLOCITY. The label’s debut EP notably resonated with DVS1, who has remained a consistent supporter of his work since then. Following this foundation, he expanded his discography with releases on labels like Float Records, MALöR Records and Drawner Records.
With regular appearances at Sisyphos’ Hammahalle, he brings the same puristic sensibility to the DJ booth, shaping extended sets that blend tension and momentum. Now settled in Mannheim, he continues to refine his sound in the studio and as a record selector.
