With just 4 days left in our crowdfunding campaign for our short film #doomscroller we are getting close to our goal. If you can spare the money we'd love you to help us reach our target and make our film.

It's tax deductible and you'll get a thank you credit too as well has help independent filmmakers.

Thanks to everyone who has donated so far.

Hi everyone, I’m going to be directing a short horror film at the end of April and we are just trying to raise some funding to pay for it. Details below:

‘You’ve heard of them. You probably know one. Heck, you might even be one. We’re talking about the dreaded keyboard warriors — people who commit unspeakable online crimes.

The scammer who robs an elderly person of their life savings. The creep who stalks and harasses innocent women on dating apps. The “influencer” who convinces everyone that curing her (fake) cancer is just a matter of eating more kale. Or the troll sending death threats to celebrities.

Now, imagine if a group of these digital misfits were locked in a house as punishment—just for our entertainment.

Six strangers wake up in a mysterious house with no idea how they got there. The only thing they have in common? A dark online secret.

But here’s the twist: their phones are glued to their hands, and a malevolent voice warns them that if the battery hits zero percent, their phones will explode.
What happens next? Are they being pranked? Will they team up, or will the pressure tear them apart? And will anyone make it out alive, or will they all go boom?
Thanks to #doomscroller, you don’t have to imagine.

We’re creating a high-concept horror film that blends the psychological intensity of Se7en with the dark humor of The Menu. But to bring this twisted vision to life, we need your help.

We’re raising funds to create a proof-of-concept short film to pitch #doomscroller to investors, distributors, and funding bodies. Your contributions will help cover costs like camera equipment, lighting, prosthetics, props, and visual effects — everything needed to make this nightmare a reality.

The world of filmmaking is expensive, but we promise you this: it’ll be worth it.

Now, go ahead and get back to doomscrolling… but you have been warned— being glued to your phone has never been this deadly.

Thank you so much for your support — we couldn’t do this without you!’
