Happy Monday, friends. I wanted to share a bit of an ongoing project some excellent people and I have been working on over the past year or so on and off

Initially I met Father Jamie through the Xavier Society’s annual Mass for the Blind at the Church of St. Francis Xavier in Manhattan, held each December around the feast of St. Lucy, patron saint of the blind. Jamie is a blind priest from the Diocese of Owensboro, Kentucky, and over the past year he has taught me a great deal about how we move through the world. This story is a story about faith.

Also, this short is a proof of concept and tiny part of a larger project we are continuing to develop.

special thanks also to @aprilzgoldberg & @jetpackpete who have joined to help finalize the longer form project filming in Kentucky…as I said more to come 🫶🏼 taken in Manhattan, New York by @_timvassallo_

It was a pleasure directing a music video for @fatalesnyc and their new song VOICES. You can catch it out now via @wfuv radio and you can also see them live today if you happen to be in the city, they’re playing @catalystrecords_marketbar at 5p

They’re also playing at gospel in SoHo on Sept 1, join for one or both and listen in anytime all the links and info are on their IG and thanks so much everyone for the love and kind words online so many ppl have already watched and shared the video!! taken in Lower Manhattan by @_timvassallo_

VOICES is a reflection on our struggle to navigate an overstimulating world of screens, notifications, and relentless noise, while simultaneously relying on just that to quiet the voices within. Kaelin's performance here is an act of resistance: a search for stillness, clarity, and genuine human connection in a world constantly demanding our attention.

I don’t normally shoot weddings but had the distinct pleasure earlier this year of being the videographer for Dem and Nick’s wedding out in Mexico. It was an adventure and they’re just such excellent people (and have such incredible family and friends) figured I’d share a few stills here that were memorable @demeryyweeks | @nicky__shee are the absolute best

full video is on Dem’s page if you want to see it taken in Mexico City by @_timvassallo_

thank you sincerely to everyone who came out for marathon Sunday- what an exceptional day!!! It was perfect and I’m so grateful to everyone who helped me fundraise $5k for @fountainhouse that’s so amazing and I’m so proud of my friends and the broader NY community for their support… on a personal note, there are a lot of reasons I run but a small goal I had heading to the race this year was to beat 4 hrs… somehow I literally finished not in 4 hrs, but 4 hrs and 1 second. Literally 1 second. 1… lolllllll… I am for sure running again at some point and beating 4 like this is just bananas… still, an outright incredible day and I love New York City from the bottom of my heart but gosh, these 2 seconds will be overcome it’s gonna happen taken in New York City by @_timvassallo_

Hi! It’s one week until the NY marathon, wooooooo!!!!, and I just wanted to thank all of you who’ve donated already (thus far I’ve raised about $4k and everyone has been exceedingly kind in terms of asking what Fountain House is- it’s a wonderful organization and I’d encourage anyone in NYC or nationally really to look into getting involved); for now I just wanted to share clips that I shot and cut of the other week’s 5k wherein @fountainhouse staff and members came together in Central Park. It was a lovely time. Hope all you online pals have a great rest of your weekend and will hopefully see you all on race day🏃🏻‍♂️! taken in Central Park, New York by @_timvassallo_
