A look inside our home on wheels🚙 There’s definitely things we’d change if we did it all again, but honestly, we’re bloody happy with how it’s turned out and it works perfectly for us! Fridge + freezer + drawers @adventurekingsgear 12V setup @kickassproducts The rest - a whole lot of DIY🤠 The whole fit-out cost us less than $4k, so we really can’t complain! Just goes to show you don’t need all the expensive gear to put together a setup that works for you 🤝 by @_trippin79
5 campsites in Northern WA we’d go back to in a heartbeat🏕️ From riverside camps in the Kimberley to some pretty incredible beach camping along the coast, these are 5 spots we’d happily visit again! We’ve included the costs, access and a few things worth knowing before you go👉 📍Buttons Crossing - Kununurra Cost: Free Access: 4WD Facilities: Fully off-grid, no facilities Such a beautiful spot right on the Ord River and easily one of our favourite camps in the Kimberley! Just be croc aware and check current camping restrictions before heading out 📍Honeymoon Bay - Kalumburu Cost: $20 per adult/night Access: 4WD via Kalumburu Road Facilities: Toilets, hot showers + small kiosk Distance: Approx. 600km return detour off the Gibb River Road A fair detour but one we’d do all over again! Beach camping, fishing, beautiful sunrises and sunsets and some pretty incredible days on the water Good to know: You’ll need to organise a Kalumburu visitor permit, and it’s worth stocking up on supplies and checking road conditions before making the trip! 📍James Price Point - Dampier Peninsula Cost: Free Access: 4WD Facilities: Fully off-grid, no facilities Those red cliffs against the ocean are something else! Definitely one of the most beautiful coastal spots we visited up north 📍Barred Creek - Dampier Peninsula Cost: Free Access: 4WD Facilities: Fully off-grid, no facilities Known for its beautiful turquoise water! You can camp near the creek mouth, but be croc aware and check current camping permissions. It was pretty windy when we visited, so we tucked ourselves in against the sand dunes instead. Too rough to launch the boat unfortunately, but we could definitely see the potential on a good day! 📍Cape Keraudren - Pilbara Cost: $15 per adult/night + $15 vehicle entry Access: Via Cape Keraudren Road, with 4WD needed for some areas Facilities: Drop toilets at selected camping areas, no drinking water Rock pools, beach camping, fishing and some pretty bloody good sunsets. Unfortunately it was too rough to get the boat out while we were there, but we still loved exploring from the shore! Good to know: Camping is only permitted in designated areas, and if you’re by @_trippin79
Come spend a muster day with us… aka a full day of yapping for Shayla 🤠 We’ve also been putting @terra.lyte electrolytes to the test out here and dare we say… they might just be the best electrolytes we’ve ever tasted! by @_trippin79
Our little $40 upgrade that takes the guesswork out of our 12V setup 🔋 We could only see the voltage on our canopy battery before, so we were pretty much guessing where the battery was actually sitting! We picked up a @kickassproducts BT Battery Monitor, which shows us the exact battery percentage through an app on our phone. Super easy to install and now we can keep an eye on our battery without guessing 🙌🏼 And if you’re anything like Cameron and forget where you parked at Woolies, you can even use the app to help find your car 😂 Not sponsored, just a handy little tool that we’ve been loving and thought we’d share! by @_trippin79
This week’s UGC / PR haul 📦 A little look at the packages we’ve received this week and what we’re working on with each brand! A bit different from our usual content, but I loved filming this and thought it might be fun to share a little behind the scenes of the UGC side of things too! Let me know if you’d like to see more of these 👀 by @_trippin79
The trailer mod we’ve been waiting for? A drop-down third wheel for the boat trailer🚤 We were caught off guard with how much beach launching we’d be doing up north, and we really weren’t keen on constantly backing the car into salt water… So Cameron came up with a way to use our spare wheel as a drop-down third wheel, so that we can unhook the trailer and push it into the water without having to reverse the car in too! What we used:
- Bolt-on jockey wheel mount
- Stub axle
- Hub to suit the trailer axle, so we can use the same bearings as a spare if needed We welded the stub axle to the jockey wheel, then welded the jockey wheel to the mount for extra stability. Packed the bearings, fitted the hub, bolted the mount to the trailer and put the spare wheel on. And when we’re not using the drop-down wheel, the spare stays on its usual holder. Now we’re itching to get to the coast to give it a go🤣 by @_trippin79

Okay camera people, we need you 👀📸 We’re looking for our first proper travel camera and have absolutely no idea where to start! We want something beginner friendly, good for both photos + video, easy enough to travel with, and preferably not going to cost us $5k 😂 If you own a camera you love, tell us what it is + why you recommend it 👇 And if you know someone who is obsessed with cameras, please tag them below because we need all the help we can get 😂 Also... camera brands 👀 we’re very happy to put one to the test while travelling around Australia! by @_trippin79

Snaps from Karijini National Park 🥾🌿 We only had a couple of days here, so we kept it pretty simple and stuck to the spots that still had water! 💧Dales Gorge was definitely a highlight, with Fern Pool and Fortescue Falls only about 500m apart ⛺️We camped at Dales Campground ($15/night per person), which was perfect because you can walk straight from camp to the gorges We also made the drive out to Hamersley Gorge and wowww!! Such a beautiful spot and definitely worth the trip out! Karijini, you were bloody beautiful 🧡 by @_trippin79
