Fear not
It’s open for a month, so if you didn’t get it yesterday, you can still try tomorrow.

As long as you’re still within the offer period, you have time.

With the Dangote IPO getting a lot of attention, I thought it would be useful to take a step back and explain what an IPO actually is, what you’re buying and what happens after you participate.

Please, an IPO is still an investment. The price can go up or down and participating doesn’t automatically mean you’ll make a profit.

The goal isn’t to rush because everyone is talking about it. It’s to understand what you’re getting into and make a decision you’re comfortable with.

If you decide to invest, invest within your means. There’s room to grow and get more

I got asked about how to access the IPO and I decided to put it all in one place.

This is simply to help you understand the process and make an informed decision for yourself.

Do your own research and consider your financial goals, risk tolerance before investing.

In my next post, I’ll break down what an IPO actually means, what buying into one means for you as an investor and what you should expect from the process.

I put together a quick checklist of things to have sorted before subscribing, especially if this is your first time participating in an IPO.

Save this, you might need it later. 🤎

if you know someone who’s already asking, “How do I buy this IPO?” DO them a favour by sending this to them.
